So, I played about an hour tonight and about four hours Wednesday evening. I have finally more than doubled my bankroll. I ended the day yesterday at $238. I can now comfortably step up to $2 MTT and .10/.25 PL or NL tables. I played mostly Omaha H/L the last couple days and have done really well. In all my years playing poker I have never gotten a royal flush in Hold em. Well I finally did and I copied the hand history and will post it with tomorrow's blog. I'm a little over 2/3 of the way to Silver Star VIP status. It is important that I at least reach Gold status by the end of the year for my 2010 ambitions. Good luck at the tables. xeuphoria.

Well today was by far the most interesting day I have had playing lately. I decided to go away from any sit n go tourney and buy in to a few $1 MTT tourneys and put all my bank roll into .05/.10 NL hold em and .05/.10 PL Omaha H/L tables. I didnt start off well and in 20 minutes quickly saw my bankroll fall to $120 or so from $157. I was ready to play today and won a key hand that had 3 players all in on a NL table. I flopped the nut flush with A K of hearts. I was first to act and checked followed by bet, and raise, I figured one player had hit a set, wasnt sure on the other player. There is some bad players at this level. Sure enough one had a set of 5's and the other had a Q 9 of hearts. The board didnt pair and I won a $30 pot. I played from about 3 pm to 7 pm and finished with $192.07. Im pleased with how I played I'm learning these levels. There is no such thing as value bets, standard raises with big hands. I could go on about some plays I've seen. I've stuck to being a pretty tight player the last couple days and really have benefited from only playing strong hands. I must get to Silver Star VIP status by the end of the month. So after eight days I'm $8 from doubling my bankroll. I need to get to $250 so I can comftorably play .10/.25 NL and PL tables. Oh and in my MTT, I placed in the money in only 1 of the 3. That's fine. If I win a $1 tourney that will really help my bank roll. But I'm gonna get to my goal of $1000 without ever hitting $0 by Multi tabling cash games rather than playing MTT tourneys. Good night. xeuphoria!!

So I'm trying to turn $100 into $1000 by the end of 2009. This is gonna require a lot of play and patience. To be safe I'm only playing a buy in of where 100 buy ins for the tournament or 1000 x bb on a cash table. I started at I started last monday and am now just blogging about it and will continue to update every day. Played not many sit n go tournaments today but a lot of NL hold em and PL omaha h/l. I ended at a little over $157 today. I really need to get to $250 so I can move up to .10/.25 no limit games. I did get $20 from pokerstars for finishing in the top 100 in both the low orbit and high orbit leader board on pokerstars. Alana wants to watch a movie tonigh but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some more poker in tonight. Good thing is i can play 15 tables at a time right now on .05/.10 NL and PL cash games.
