I started playing poker in 2,004, but didn't turn professional until March 2,008. In this period of time I have finished 2nd once and chopped HU another time in the FTP 750K for a combined $187K, won the UB 200K for $48K and finished 3rd three months later for $18K, won the PS NHG for $22K and finished 4th in another ocation, final tabled the Super Tuesday $1K the first time I played it, won the FTP 50-50 and PS 50R in back to back days, and several more final tables and wins.
I dedicate an average of 30 hours a week to coaching, with very good reviews from my students. I have enough experience in the coaching department already to easily identify and point out leaks in people's games, and offer them ways to fix those leaks efficiently. My main focus is to provide an overall profitable approach to the game, as a first step in the process of becoming a successfull tournament player.
Stack management, positional play, bet sizing, hand ranging, and specially attention to details...those are my strengths as a player, and I believe I can explain those concepts in an understandable way.
I do HH reviews using Skype and sharing screens with the student. Using Holdem Manager I recreate the tournament and we go over all the possible details worth discussing.
I also offer the possibility of participating in my group sessions.

I would also recommend Andres to anyone why wants to improve. Worked with him over the past 2 weeks and he puts alot of time into improving his students and expains himself very well. The HH reviews go on for around 4 hours, he runs them several times a week and he was always avalible to talk over hands. You will struggle to find a coach who puts more time/effort into improving your game. Super nice guy with a great personality. |

Just started to work with Andres and are really impressed with how and what he teaches me. He really helps you to develop a way of logic thinking. So not; you should do this here.. but What's the reasoning behind your move what other options do you have etc. This really helps you too get the maximum out of your game. I honestly can tell there's no session of Andres I didn't learn from. I really think that each player no mather wich level can learn from Andres. He also explains things in a way it's easy to understand I would recommend Andres to everyone who want's too improve their game to the highest levels att MTT's. Also he's a really nice guy |

Andres is a good instructor who knows how to explain himself very well with a lot of detail. He will quickly jump into ur hand historys and fully examine every hand worth talking about. I definitely recommend andres to anyone who is looking to improve their game. He is also one of the nicest and friendliest coaches around. |

Over the 1 and half years I have been playing MTT's I have been coached numerous times. Over this time all of those coaches added something to my game. However, none of them critically assessed everything I did in the way Andres does. I don't always 100% agree with his line to start with, but we discuss hands and normally I agree by the end! He is very good at explaining the correct thought process and also very open minded about poker which is refreshing To boot he is a great guy and his enthusiasm for this sick game is inspiring to me. |

Well, what can I say? The very same day that I had my first coaching session with Andres, I beat a field of 1094 players to get 2nd on the $12,000 Guarantee Rebuy, for $2084!! I guess it was more than worth it!! Seriously, you can notice the difference in your game immediately (as I just told you!). He's very attentive at details and you get to know aspects of the game that you never thought about before. I highly recommend it! |

Although we have never met I've known Andres for a couple years now. I consider him a friend first and then a poker player/coach. I have seen him at his best and seen him take extremely brutal beats. My business comes first so I have only made it to one of his skype coaching sessions and it was incredible. If you get your feelings hurt easily or just want to defend your (bad) decisions then you may want to find another coach :-). Andres loves people and makes everyone feel welcome and important yet at the same time has no problem telling you that your decision in a hand sucks and here is why. He has created a very supportive group of guys who all encourage each other and if a Andressoprano student/player is deep you can expect the rail to blow up with support. |

I was lucky enough to first sweat one of Andres’s online sessions in October of last year. His ability to explain his thought process while 24 tabling is something to be seen to be believed. His coaching sessions are extremely informative and he spots leaks and missed opportunities like a sniper. A hugely entertaining and generous guy, Andres loves to teach and I hope to continue to laugh with and learn from him for a long time to come. |

Andres has a great poker mind, he is helping me become better at higher stakes and fine tune my mtt game. Andres understands how to play good, bad and ugly players. My understanding of the dynamics of 3betting is a lot better after working with Andres. A session with Andres is definately great value. |

Hi all.. I am a beginning STT Micro stack player. I just took my 1st lesson with Andres about 5 days ago. He helped me identify some leaks in my game and introduced me to a few tools that have been very helpful. Eventhough it has been a very short time, I am already seeing results as I practice what he has taught me... Besides a great coach, he is also a very nice guy. I look forward to taking more lessons with him. |

Ever wonder why you play so good but just don't seem to get that coveted first spot? Well, wonder no more! Stop posting bad beat stories (that nobody reads!) on online forums and take lessons from Andres instead. He will help you identify your leaks and identify opportunities on the felts to take your game to a higher level. |

I have known Andres for several months now. Over which time, I have had the most success in my poker career thus far. I attribute a lot of that success to working w/ Andres. He is not only becoming one of the strongest players around, he is an excellent coach, and has a great sense of humor. I am involved in his group chat often, and also speak on a daily basis with a lot of players he has helped as well. You can basically guarantee someone (or several of us usually) Andres has coached will be at a FT and/or win a nice mtt nightly. He is always sure to have his finger on the pulse of what's happening or changing in poker. The amount of volume he plays on multiple sites ensures that. I would def recommend him as a coach. Only if you want to improve though ;-) |
