I always played some poker but was mostly a pool player until 2005 when poker was legalized in Oklahoma. In 2005 I began to play quite a but live and some online. For some reason I could win often live but always got smoked online. Finally in 2010 I saw the light and realized I wasn't applying myself. I started a chat group, joined a training site, took lessons, and blogged everyday so my future students could see how I progressed. By the end of 2010 I had my first profitable year online. In Jan 2011 I won 40k in 4 days and was ready to keep improving and reach my goals, and then Black Friday. I took a year off from online poker after BF and played all live. Towards the end of that year I took the first steps towards something I knew I would do since 2010, I started coaching. I started out coaching live local players and really enjoyed it. May 12, 2012, I decided to get back to online poker and grinded online for a while but am now playing a lot of live poker again too. Rec Posted On: Apr 2nd, 2013 		I have known cracker for many years. I watched him play a ton off pool matches, betting on him was always a safe bet. His always fought hard every shot. When i saw him again about a year ago after moving back into this area we immediately started talking poker. While i initially doubted his abilities as a coach and mentor. His careful thought process and dedication to IBR, a term he first coined, showed me just how much further i could go as a poker player. After our first few lessons he noticed several areas that i could improve upon. Taking his advice and starting my own IBR, has produced immediate results. I was frequently deep in MTTs with a larger stack and a better plan to use it. Cracker offers great topics for improvement in game theory and overall making me a better competitor in all games. All i can say for sure is if you want to have better more consistent results, take a lesson from this guy. Unapprove

Rec Posted On: Dec 24th, 2012 		Thanks to Cracker I have shown vast improvement over just a couple of weeks of work and due to work the time spent has been limited. I had my first tourney cash for over $1K in quite some time and my cash game results have improved quite a bit. I can see that I have been on the bad side of variance lately but it is obvious to me that a few weeks ago my sessions would have been losing sessions. I plan to spend a lot more time with him and really improve my game. A few weeks ago I knew nothing about poker coaching and now I am sold. A small investment really can pay off in the long run. I would suggest spending time with him because it will really improve your results. Unapprove

He has great focus and is very driven to see his students achieve success through hard work and discipline. I challenge anyone to find a coach that will work hard and interact more with their students than Cracker9ball. I've been very impressed with his over all understanding of what it takes to help a poker player transition into a solid player. I've had 4 one hour coaching sessions and i have taken down a live $65 tournament at the local casino. I've also chopped it 3 ways along with 4 other cashes. I've also built my Intertops bank roll from my $200 initial deposit to over $1200 in a month. The amount of interest Cracker9ball shows in his students is far and above what i expected. Cracker9ball has changed my way of thinking towards poker. I now play with a plan and feel comfortable in any and every spot. I now feel that i can effectively compete in any MTT without being results oriented. My entire experience with John Reynolds has been very positive, productive and educational. When i look back to the days when i was just losing money i now realize that getting coaching from Cracker9ball was by far the best poker related decision i have ever made! THANKS JOHN Unapprove

Rec Posted On: Jul 30th, 2012 		Not only will John teach you a lot about poker. He'll teach you how to be humble when it comes to your game. Everyone makes mistakes and I'll admit at first I wasn't wanting to hear it. John has none of it and will kindly and patiently show you how to PLAY SOLID. Once you have these elements of the game mastered you can explore other ways to profit in the game and he'll tell you that himself. I can't imagine any other coaches are as available to their students as John. It' honestly unbelievable you would have to hire him as a coach to see what I mean. I respect the way he plays the game and I bet you will too. Unapprove

Rec Posted On: Jul 23rd, 2012 		I want to take this time to give a special thanks to John Reynolds aka Cracker9ball and variance101. Dude you are a great coach and a greater inspiration for me and my game! The way you play and the thought process behind it is so clear. I am so confident when i play now and your business as usual approach to the game never allows the player to be satisfied with the results. I used to be happy just cashing MTT's, but now im learning to play solid and optima winning poker at all times.
Getting coaching from cracker9ball has been one of the best decisions i have ever made. From the variance101 chat to having access to him almost 24hrs a day live or by email!
It has been a very eye opening experience getting coaching from Cracker9ball; And i am very excited that i chose him to help me get to the next level. It just feels good to enter a mtt and to know exactly what you want to do; As well as being able to deal with most spots that come your way.Since starting my student/coaching process i have transitioned from bingo poker to an optimal thinking player. Mr. Variance101 himself Cracker9BaLL!!!!!
