Message From The Maven
I've been teaching for about 4 years and have had incredible results training previous students. Teaching poker is something I take very seriously and something I enjoy.

As marketable and genuine a force there is for coaching online poker, David "The Maven" Chicotsky provides a very patient, encouraging, mentally neutral approach to professional poker. While much has been made of his unorthodox play, The Maven offers up a statistically- and game theory-based approach that was a revelation for me. He is extremely professional yet affable, witty and accessible, and honest but tactful. If you take one of his Vegas Boot Camps, be prepared for a whole reset to typical ABC/TAG live poker play. I am truly grateful for the life and poker lessons I learned at the hands of The Maven and his mentor Ari "BodogAri" Engel. Using no hyperbole, training with them changed the direction of my game and my LIFE. |

I just finished some one on one training with David and had the opportunity to meet with Ari. Both are down to earth guys and very very knowledgeable. This training can only help you improve to be a better player online and live. Their techniques make the decision making very easy, especially in those tough to call spots that could cost you your tournament life. If you are looking to improve your game this is definitely the place for you. Their proven track work should be reason enough. David was Bluff Magazine's POY 2008 and the following year, his student Jeremy Fitzpatrick, became Bluff's Online POY. Both Ari and David are very successful MTT players with the stats to prove it. If you are looking to improve your game I suggest you check out one of their training options. They are both happy to work with you and your scheduling. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'd be happy to tell you about my experience here. Just wanted to say special thanks to David, Zac and Ari for taking the time and scheduling this training. I look forward to start taking down some more tournaments. Rob aka BuddhaX |

I've done the boot camp in October 2010, with David "The Maven" Chicotsky and Ari Engel. It was an awesome camp ! I've learn much in 5 days camp than in some years alone ! My game has completly changed, and my results too ! The results of the all boot camp group has changed, with a lot of FT, a lot of good results ! Also insane results (one student take down a 48000+ players online MTT after the camp !). If you love poker and want to put your game into the next level, make no mistakes, train with the Maven and Ari ! You will never regret it ! That's a fact ! |

Went to a Maven bootcamp in August of last year, and after three days I could barely see straight. The level of thinking from Maven is something I had never seen before. I've continued to do a lot of training with Maven and it's helped my game more than I ever thought. I appreciate the help, and look forward to continually getting better. |

David is already well known. I'm very new to the game - I took the Maven Bootcamp and have had 2 1 on 1's with him. his bootcamp is good; his 1 on 1 is pure gold. if you want someone to review your tournament play and show you where to make the improvements, he's a superb choice |

You can forget all the negative reviews on the Maven, I have experienced the training and gotten profitable results from it. Absolute +EV by training with The Maven in person, online or skype. Also the friends you make in the camps or forum are invaluable. Really can't go wrong with investing with David. |

I met TheMaven about 3.5 years ago, and he's dedicated himself to improving his game more than anyone I know. The guy grinds insane volume and crushes the stakes he plays. I don't really think I need to promote him more though, he's already massively well-known in the community and won the Online POTY award from Bluff a while back. I would recommend his coaching to most anyone who is new to the game or wanting to improve their multi-tabling skills. Even seasoned players can learn a thing or two from a few lessons with him. |
