    As I was approaching my 10,000th post, I was thinking about what type of post or thread I could do. I came up with a $10 giveaway based on the $1 pokerstars World Record tournament on Dec 4th. Its a fun little free contest, since 10,000 seems to be a magic number.

    $5 to the person that wants in the contest that goes out closest to the bubble. Just post in this thread with your Pokerstars name.
    $3 to the person that lasts the longest.
    $2 to the person that guesses closest where I go out. Your entry will only count if its at least 100 spots different than someone that posted previously. Americans are welcome as well, but will need to give me a couple of days to load a few bucks on the site of your choice to transfer (between Hero, Lock, Carbon, and Cake). Any edited post for the $2 guess where WackyJaxon finished contest will be considered voided. This isn't a Price is Right contest, so its not closest without going over, just closest in general.

    As a catch, its possible I may not be playing (but will be entered) in the Record tourney since if my wife goes into Labor early (she is due on Dec 6th), obviously I will not be playing. I know its not alot of money being given out, but hopefully its fun at least for the micro guys.

    I like to know when is the deadline for giving our guess of where you go out ?? Should we post ITT before the tourney start ??

    I will probably cut off that deadline when I wake up on Sunday, so well before the tourney starts. This way no-one has advanced info on whether I will be playing or not. I will be 75% likely play it though, with 25% likely registered but sitting out.

    Don't forget to post your pokerstars names in this thread if you think you might be playing as you will automatically be eligible for the first 2 parts of the contest.

    yep bloody good idea im in for sure playing under rock_it_bad. ohh and as for my guess on where you will finish.. im just gonna go with 1st seems like a nice figure.. smash a world record field then off to the hospital to witness a miracle. that would be some run good

    I will update the OP when there are at least 5 people in. To also clarify the bubble prize will be for the person closest to the money that didn't cash that posted in here. Awarding a bigger prize for that than the last longest since I am hoping the person that lasts longest won't care about the few dollars since they would have already binked a bit. :)

    I think you'll go out in 40,000 (assuming they'll be at least 149,196 like last year)

    I've forgotten about poker for the most part since my wife has been on leave from work 2 months ago. Play a little bit each day, but took most of my roll offline. Play some games for fun at the moment, but not playing my usual cash games. Will get back into things in 2012 probably though.
