In response Kev, I would have to say," Thanks and all but poor and unnecessary attitude on your part."
#1: I am not a professional poker player, obviously.
#2: If you want to get technical on bankroll management, I have a professional career in real estate property management with an annual salary of $70k. So my $109 investment was approximately .15% of my "bankroll".
#3: This isn't a bankroll management thread. Please visit the proper forum and take your burdensome load of misery with you. -
Congrats!

WHAT NOW KEVMODE -
I dont know if it's the pathetic price pools (m-s) and inability to "makeup", or the abundance of regs but I have to agree.. I have teetered between 2k and $0 since playing on Merge and CONSTANTLY lose 2-3 outers on the bubble in big spots (note I won a tournament my first night on merge too). Not taking anything away from his play/score. I was up 50k on FTP and can't get ANY traction since week 1 on the site... IMO Don't nevcesarily pull it ALL out, just like 6-7k. After all, real estate has ab same variance as poker these days

Edited By: mikewebb68 May 8th, 2012 at 06:01 AMYou play on Bovada at all? You could then see if you do any better there; if not, perhaps there is a flaw of two in your game. I have had the same expereince with Merge, but have just crushed on Bovada. And this is no praise for Bovada at all, or criticism of Merge; I am sure the variance will even out among both sites. But if I was faring poorly on both, then I would blame my play rather than traction.Originally Posted by NewberryKA

And if you don't like the player anonymity of Bovada, then Cake/Lock may soon be a decent option as well. -

dont listen to kevmode, he just jealous/hating...

Kevmode brought up good points about bankroll management if the OP didn't have a job and the money he was depositing wasn't partly recreational in nature. If it was going to be his only deposit and he wanted to grind it up, then I agree with Kevmode. Since the OP stated this wasn't the case after Kevmode brought up the bankroll management issues, I don't see the issue with just making a deposit to play in 1 or 2 events. Nice job again OP, hopefully you run it up a bit more or buy yourself something nice with the $.

I had to sell my carbon monies after I won the hr...skins casouts are trash. Good job op!!

nice job, keep it up dont cash out
-
Or he can sell it in the site to site thread for probably about 90% of that if he wants it immediately.
