seemed odd the dude called off his 23k there at 400/800...
-
haha.

Shove of course. but if djk had 56s or smth this would be a very good call then obviously lol. When i look at it again i think this was a bit like gambling since that guy 3bets right behind him in MP and will prolly call the shove with like every PP, every pair and even smth like AJ-AK. But im not djk so i should just keep my stupid mouth shut ^^
-
i dont think it was him

Don't know what your doing reraising 98s in early position...especially against a top pro.
He probably knew what you've been up too.
He's line was to check shove you on the flop probably thinking you had a ten in your hand and you might fold to a shove. -
def wasn't me. I was just railing.

Shuriken has really nice results! Is there anybody who can explain how going broke there with almost 50bb before hand starts could be profitable?
-
30 min before this shuriken was chip leader with around about 100,000 chips and second had 50,000 chips.
-
djk had him by the balls, had screwed him earlier and the guy was mad as hell tilting, obv at that level the buyin doesn't mean that much - just anuva game?
-
what is this, a vacuum made for ants? -
djk pretty much raping the table, hand right before it he caged him for a big pot without showdown. djk is an expert button clicker
-
I thought someone on here might be able to explain this move, since I'm inexperienced and couldn't justify it. And this from memory so sorry for any mistakes
less than 18 left...
Before this Djk was dominating the table as you'd expect and had a nice chip lead, and yes DYBYDX had been 3betting a fair bit
Djk123 has a 125BBs+ stack and open raises with KQo from UTG+2 I do believe.
DYBYDX has a 54BB stack and 3bets from the button.
Djk123 tanks and then ops to 4bet shove. DYBYDX calls with AKo
I can understand thinking that theres a lot of fold equity against DYBs 3betting range since Djk had a very aggressive image and playing KQ OOP in a 3bet pot isnt very profitable, but I also think your lowering your variance in the late stages of this tourney when youre chip leader by flatting or 5bet/folding and i consider these to be better options. I dont think folding is an option.
Could anybody explain this move a bit better to me?
