    6months to make 100k liquid or go back to school or join the workforce

    do-able for a ms mtt grinder with an abi of $55 ish?

    How bout you go to school AND make 100k liquid by the time you get done with school, then decide if you want to join the workforce? Don't think 100k liquid would make me not go back to school.

    because i'm going to Europe to play online , dont really want to enroll in a Spanish university. It's just a personal goal to see if i wanna continue doing this online poker thing.

    going back to spain tommorow, hopefully legislation doesnt put this goal to an early end .

    Hi FYL - I might be moving to Spain in October. Spain and Portugal are our top 2 destinations. Where in Spain are you living and how is the cost of living there at the moment?

    hey wacky , im in the northwest of spain a province called galicia (pic of my small town below)

    I am fortunate enough to not have many expenses ( i spent 400 euro in the 6 months i was there from aug-february mostly on beer). My father built a house there on some land given to him by his mom so i live there and eat at my grandparents or just go to restaurants. However i do have a couple american buds who live in the city A Coruna which is the biggest city close by. I have spoken to them about expenses it seems flats go from 500-1k euro a month (1k euro example i was given is a 4br 2br flat shared by 4 people). It is not that bad for people from other parts looking to move with work guaranteed i.e. poker players with some savings. It is bad for spaniards though because most laborers dont even make 1k euro a month.

    Thats exactly what i wanna find out this year. My goal is about 150k for this year (10k euros/month). Made 40k so far, so doesnt look bad. Even if it only will be half of that i doubt i can find a job that pays like that. Gl with ur goal! Def realistic. But even the best have a losing year, so i wouldnt necessarily stop playing if it doesnt work. Think its more important to see if the weekly 50h+ grind kills u or not.

    First post on my new ipad, nice toy haha.

    Yeah I am just gonna go hard and try to accomplish it, i mean even if i fall short by half and feel ok with it (still had time to lead a normal life not just grind all day) I likely wont quit :P
