Id prefer to raise 3x.. this way it bloats the pot so our 3/4/5 bets are bigger and we can cbet/fold like half of our stack all together instead of a 3rd of our stack.. This way in the long run we lose more.
Also make it sure its suited next time adds back door runner runner flush possibilites if we hit just one of the suits and we can probably jam over anything and it will be profitable. -
are you using his hud numbers over 2 hands to justify a light 6b in the early stages of an 8$ tourney
-
Who wouldnt? im putting this guy on a range of 50% from our sample size so like we can put this guy on..

22+, A2o+, K2o+, Q2o+, J5o+, T7o+, 98o, A2o+, K2o+, Q5o+, J8o+, T9o
A7o is crushing his range. -
profitable player, bad level
-
lol at all the min raising
-
pretty bad played by both. why in the world do u open with A7o from mp in the first blind level? why dont u just fold to a 3bet? why dont u just fold to a 5bet? why do u play an $8 FO if u dont give a shit about this tourney? why do u post a completely unnecessary info like 50/50 over 2 hands? is trolling the new cool thing on P5s? i mean, no offense but it really seems like the allani-virus is breaking out.
-
correct play throughout the hand
-
I'm SB, he is BB.. I do usually folds to 3bet/4bet/5bet at first level, just thought I'd play around with this in this specific tourney..SO TO HAVE FUN...

as with the 50/50. couldn't be bothered typing out we are new to the table and this is first level,etc...easiler to type 50/50.
Was really considering this line. ..or just shove flop... -
lol this is pretty good

didnt see that u both were in the blinds. still dont think that playing the hand there is profitable. do u want to steal the blinds? or do u want to win a huge pot oop with A7o? it's really just a fold. i can tell u that i was playing the same way like 1.5 years ago, i just didnt know what i want to achieve with my plays and just looked at my cards. oh an ace, gonna raise here. it's just not profitable man. play hands that gonna win u a huge pot like suited connectors or pockets. dont get crazy with AK, etc. i promise i will try it in the future and just gonna fold AK pre in the early stages. i mean in tourneys where there are smart players who will put u on a certain range, u just gonna lose money with top top in the long run. not talking about a $8 FO, just talking about general poker logic. if u know someone with AX will go broke on an A high flop than it's obv a profitable play to raise AK pre.
if u disagree with my post then please tell me what reasons did u have to raise that hand from the sb? 'just for fun' actually explains it all already, but i still think every player who is in this forum tries to become a better player, so u maybe should rename ur posts, like: 'was tired and wanted to bust from a low stakes tourney and got owned somehow'. -
I have lots of humor, but i used to make the same plays and burned money. I didnt look him up on opr and dont know if he's a low or hs reg or whatever. And if it's a standard hand for him then this is a leak obv. Just saying =]
I actually like that u are playing around and trying things out! I think u should do it at the mid-late stages of a tourney, since everybody plays his cards at the first level and u gonna get owned too often. Villain had obv the idea as u at the same time. This is indeed pretty funny.Originally Posted by SSG
