On a related note, I've taken the following steps on my current AIM account to ensure it doesn't get compromised via the "Account Security Question" vulnerability. According to an archived post Nat made (see: July 28, 2010 post by N 82 50 24 regarding AIM hacking), the vast majority of these AIM issues occur when someone guesses your answer to the security question.
STEPS TAKEN TO SECURE AIM ACCOUNT
1. Went to http://www.aim.com/
2. Clicked the "Change Password" link under the "Help" heading at the bottom right (this doesn't prompt you to change your password, but takes you to a separate page).
3. Entered my AIM password. This took me to a separate page where I clicked the option to "Change Account Security Question."
4. When I clicked that, I was prompted to answer my current Account Security Question (which as Nat says, can be very easy for someone to guess).
5. I then chose a new Account Security Question and entered a lot of random letters and numbers in the answer. You can use RoboForm and SafeNotes to safeguard your password, which will encrypt the text so if anyone gets access to your computer, they would need the master password to gain access to your file.
