    Matt your heart is in the right place and I applaud you for that, there's too many people in this world who get a kick out of other people's misfortune, which I've seen in a few posts here and is pretty fkn sick imo. However, he did consciously bring this on himself and I just don't see how stars can be responsible for helping people who apparently don't feel they need it. It would be nice if we could save guys like this from themselves but it's just not practical. But I really don't get how your suggestion turned into a spewfest about government regulation, sounds like a little Teabagger paranoia happenin' up in here.

    I'm assuming here. But having government save people from themselves instead of letting them actually make decisions and choices on their own accord.

    Bad players that (a) get lucky and run way above EV or (b) are wealthy in the first place are the cornerstone of the poker economy.

    If you're worried about the ethics of the situation, you might be playing the wrong game.

    It is true that for the most part this kind of train wreck benefits the high stakes regs, but that's just human nature. Not much in it for the average grinder besides entertainment!

    -Confused as to why people think stars should have stepped in with this guy especially being poker players
    -If you were a reg grinding at your local casino and some fish sits down with heaps and starts spewing, do you expect the poker room supervisor to step in? LOL get fucking real are you kidding me!!
    -people like this guy are great for the game, a necessity to the game, and have been around forever and that's never going to change
    -This dolt should try having a little accountability for his actions like Supra1988 said gambling problem or not
    -He has a problem, that part is clear, but he also CHOSE to do what he did and therefore his responsible for the consequences of his decision, which in this case is being broke.

    MattAKA has a serious posting problem!! And whos responsible for this?? P5s! You end lives, dudes.

    He lived the life of a redic high stakes sng player for 1 week and prolly felt like god over the week and it was the best week of his life. And stars has soo many players, whoever says that stars shoulda stopped him, regardless if such a guy is good for poker or not, is a moron. Dont blame stars for not contacting some idiot.
