  1. I may be going up to see Mt Rushmore and I learned that Deadwood South Dakota has had legalised gambling for 20 years. Has anyone played poker there and what are the best rooms to play NLHE? Thanks!!!

i know i know...not many people ever go to SD
  2. I have nothing on topic to contribute. Don't waste your time at Rushmore though imo. Go to the Badlands instead.
  3. where ever you go with people playing poker, you'll be in a good game there.
  4. just played at the silverado, pretty limited selection.... also saloon number 10, not many games going during the week, have to play fri and sat night
  5. you need to visit the Corn Palace
  6. 110 $ tournament on sunday, so fucking soft, they say its deep stacked, which it is at the beginning.. but then turns into a push/fold game pretty quick, a guy called my 13 bb shove with K7s. Average age is like 85

  11. the first casino that i ever played at was in Deadwood. Can't remember the name but I was so nervous, playing tournament poker for the first time. I got lucky and caught a few hands here and there made the final table, (there was only two) and fell in love with poker again. Then as I was wandering around I found a bunch of poker magazines that they were giving away. Man I was in hog heaven. I was asking questions at the table that were so stupid, but at the time I thought that was the way to learn.
  12. Im going up to Deadwood this weekend anyone else gonna be around?
  13. Just got back from a trip out there visiting my dad- the poker selection is limited, best time to play is during the rally at sturgis. The silverado is the only room that offers 2-100 spread limit 300 max buy in which plays close to nlhe. They have some small mtts that are soft and really bad structured, heartland tour also makes a stop in deadwood
  14. just dont sit w your back to the door
