Best poker run good of my life this month.

    Back story:

    I am not a poker pro. I am merely a recreational player, although I consider myself to be an average thinking player. I never have time to play poker with work and school, but decided recently to devote a little more time to playing and see what I can make of it.

    Before this month, I only have had 1 four figure score back in 2009 where I finished deep in a SCOOP event. I also have never won a tournament other than a 180 man before.

    But, this month I have had some pretty nice results for my standards anyway.

    So far this month...

    4th in $15k KO with 961 runners for $1,422.

    Two deep runs in the $750k and $1.5m yesterday in the last 3 weeks.
    Finished 22 out of 3835 for $2,838.
    Last night finished 62nd for $3,062.

    Finished 2nd in the MiniFTOPS Event #39 Omaha Hi/Lo with 2647 runners for my biggest cash $6,935. I was a complete rookie at O8 but somehow made the final table with a massive chip lead and got owned heads up against an aggressive Swedish player. We did start heads up even in chips, he was just the more experienced player. Kudos to him for taking down the jersey.

    And the icing on the cake...

    A 1st place finish in the $75 $23k KO with 412 runners for $5,750 and a total of 22 KOs.

    Took so long to get that one win. Huge load off my back.

    Man it feels good. Thanks to P5s for all the help with my game.

    That's awesome man. I looked at your stats and it looks like you have cashed for more this month then the last 3 years combined. Great job, keep up the good work and ship something big during double guarantee's week.
