I was just wondering if anyone else does the same? I won 10 bi's in a 15 hour sesh today and now I just can't sleep even though I am exhausted. I have done the same when I have lost the same amount. Does anyone do the same or is it just me?

A big expectation coming true will create lots of endorfine in your body and even some adrenaline so... makes sense yes that you can't sleep :D Try thinking on other things this will get your body away from the pleasure or negative thoughts and eventually the endorfine/adrenaline will slow down and you fall a sleep.

My non-scientific explanation is that so when you go to sleep after having an active brain time and specially in poker where most of the time you don't know if you maid the right decisions, the time you go to sleep is the "rest" time (can be like some meditation stuff) where your brain is activating again all what happened and trying to find answers.
Now dealing with this is up to what you want to do, last live tourney i did like 3 weeks ago, I played a kinda 25men SNG with an EPT structure (veeery deep), begun 2pm and finished at 5 or 6 am. I needed like 1.5-2 hours in my bed before falling asleep even through I normaly need 5 min.. I reviewed all my tournament, rethought all the decisions and then slept like a baby..
When I used to not finding sleep, I try to let my brain thing about all what comes to mind without thinking a lot about every stuffs and then I find for ex. a special situation of the day that I didn't viewed/lived the same way I did in my "before-sleep" review..
And for thoses weed-fan, smoking is destroying this process that is why (other reason as well obv) i don't like it at all. -
Too much batter on the brain obv.
