are you sure you weren't utg and called by accident? that's the only thing that is reasonable in this case.

Seems like a software flaw to me
-
So basically they 're sayn tht if bb doesn't hv enough to post the actual bb next guy to left has to.
Than the button moves and u pay again. ,that's absurd -
agreed. sick thing is, you cant see from the screen shot but i only had 1.5bb before I was hit the 2nd time. Just lost a nice pot this orbit and had folded with 3bb knowing this guy would let himself go allin while we were on direct money bubble. Was shocked when I had to pay twice. made the money fwiw, but its obv this flaw killed any potential equity i was to gain in the future.

Dear Shawn,
Thank you for contacting us. My name is Ronald, Member Support Representative and I am happy to assist you today in your query.
Shawn, with regards to your query, I would like to inform you that according to the "forward moving button" rule, no player ever receives the button twice in consecutive hands; at the completion of every hand, the button is moved clockwise to the small blind.
The implication of this rule is that when players are eliminated, there may be players who get a reprieve from one or both blinds. The forward moving button is common practice in online poker due to the technicalities involved in adjusting the blinds after players are eliminated. Since these are basically random occurrences, no player will receive any long-term advantage, and the rule is necessarily fair for all players.
Shawn, may I take this chance to wish you the very best of luck. If there is anything that I can do for you then please contact us anytime and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
Ronald C.

What I dont get, is why someone shall never get the button twice consecutively, but can be charged with the BB twice consecutively, and then to say this 'forward moving button' rule is common practice in online poker' seems inaccurate to me. Ive seen this many times myself on 888, but cant remember ever seeing this on stars, or any other site for that matter. Can someone shed some light on this?
