    Hey. Just wondering if anyone in the area is planning on heading to the Delaware Park Poker Classic at the beginning of April? Would be nice to network a bit or whatever. Also about to head up there to register for their Bracket challenge today. 10K for first! gl me!

    Monker71 and I will both be there for the first week. Ill def be playing all the noon events. TKO hit me up on skype when you get a chance and we can meet up.

    Thats great that Delaware has poker now! I grew up in DE and its about time. Now if Tennessee could just get their act together...We have a lottery, but not one casino.

    Anyone have any idea what field sizes will be like? I played in a $120 or something back in December I think on weekend, and it got close to 100 runners. Hopefully these will double or triple the amount of entries!

    second event (7PM) got 560 runners. i literally have no idea where they are putting all these people. apparently they shut all the cash games down. looking forward to tomorrows $340. good luck folks.

    the second event had like 200 alternates. I was alternate 100 and didnt get seated til 9 pm. (tourney started at 7) So I dont really know how big the other events will get but I would highly recommend registering online. GL to anyone playing.

    This was a shit show. The first event was awful. I was alternate 189. Didnt sit till 10 pm. Starting stacks were 10k. Blinds were 200-400 50 ante. So they start to consildate tables to one side of the room so they can start cash games. Blinds were 500/1000 at this pt. I was just BB and SB and I was the button. I had about 9 k after the blind passed. Fucking idiot TD comes to move/break our table. However, our table is just moving across the room so they can use it for a cash game. All the same players and dealer. Before we draw, I start saying how thats retarded. Just give us the same seat assigments, cause I was just BB and SB and now I have the button. He says no were breaking this table. I start to argue about retarded this is and how retarded DP was for having run such a shitty organized event. I start to say if I draw the BB, Im gonna be beyond pissed off. Sure enough I draw the BB and flip my shit. Not to mention the dealers were slow and sloppy. I saw 3 mistakes within an hour. And very simple errors that were beyond idiotic.
    I understand that this tournament series is the 1st their running it. But they should have created more space. They didnt know how many runners they were going to have? They were running radio advertisements in baltimore/DC. You knw all the regs are going to play 250? plus all the AC regs plus the randoms. I think they should have capped it an closed registration after the first rd but they ran it for 2 hrs. I think they were just trying to get a big prize pool and turnout.
    I went back up the following week and their running satties for their 550 event. The website falls to mention that these satties are 120 rebuy events. Someone was saying how DP hired a former Vegas TD to revamp DP and make it the new place play on the east coast. This place is a joke IMO. But ppl will still go and play cause the regulars there seem pretty incompetent. Borgata ftw.

    And if you make the final table, chances are your going to chop, but thats not uncommon, just saying. Good luck man
