We started off Wednesday with 777 Facebook likes and are on a campaign to increase that number. We worked out a deal with Ace Poker Software to give away free software in a random drawing from the list of people who have liked us on Facebook. We sent out a mailer, put the "Facebook Social Plug In" at the top right of the home page, and posted a front page article.
We've added 300 likes and the number is quickly growing. We've fired most of our chambers, though, so I think the wave of new likes will slow soon.
Dan set the over/under of total new Likes by Tuesday at 12:15 CT to 1800. I begrudgingly took the under. It's a bet I wouldn't mind losing. We've got a dollar riding on this so it's pretty big time for us. -
Nice extra plug for your promotion. It worked on me (just hit the like button). I think I have to agree with you in taking the under. If I we're right, it's gives me a better chance to win : )
