  1. So in a live game, we know the hands are set and cannot change.
can the same be said for online play?

I always wondered if different actions create different outcomes...

    ex; 1) flatting vs. shoving
    2) positioning, timing and bet sizing accordingly
    3) correct play vs. the gut play

So , can one alter the outcome of a hand using any/all of the examples
or are the hands set ?

    thoughts,comments, advice, jokes are welcomed
  2. On FTP they had it so that the shuffle was continuous, so this was the case as depending on when you hit the buttons yourself you could determine the outcome of later cards randomly. On pokerstars and most sites, the shuffle is predetermined at the start of the hand, and thus nothing you described would change the cards once the first card was dealt.
  3. I was just awful at timing that RNG on FT :/

  4. wow, nice tid bit of info waxy..
  5. nothing better than wondering what would have happened if you waited one more second before 5b shoving your aa into kk on the money bubble for thousands on ftp
  6. As in the FTP case, your decision should never change just because the outcomes are changing, never try and time the rng

  7. wow! never knew that, this makes sense why i always hated ftp....................f ing ridiculous to have a continuous shuffle wtf is that

  8. I certainly hope it goes without saying that continuous shuffle vs predetermined has absolutely no effect on anything. The notion of "timing" a random event is asinine, and mostly everyone on FTP knew that, and had no problem with it because any thinking person could see that random continuous or random predetermined is still at the end of the day random, which is all that matters.
  9. Damn, im glad i didnt play much on FTP seems like even more skill needed to get the timing right.
  10. Being one with the RNG on Full Tilt was an art. You had to really feel the positive vibes right before you called off the preflop jam.

Waitttt foorrr ittt....waiittt forrrr ittttt, waiiitttt f, NOW
  11. If FTP ever come back I will have to hit pay for your services.Seems -EV to play without any training in RNG Training
  12. lol ft.... doesnt matter tho if its continousely shuffled or not...luck is luck doesnt matter when its shuffled but hear ya, if only I knew I would still have tryed approching the timing of my calls in a different way...
  13. yea either way the cards are random, makes no difference
  14. there is a lot less card railing than before "aaaaaaaaaa" hahah
    guess the masses caught on....
