  1. I qualified for tonights Omaha hi/lo $215 event on stars last month but unregistered a while ago. I've never entered an event above $100 before but I have a crazy stupid ROI of 275% this year playing hi/lo and got my first 4 fig score (cashed out 1k) two weeks ago winning a $16 2 x chance 08 mtt!

    Would it be stupid of me too play this event and should I look at playing the 2nd chance event instead? My main problem is I feel like I can grind back the money if I lose it but thats gonna take a few weeks. And am I going to feel like shit if I dont cash? And does it feel special to play in a wcoop event or does it just feel like any other tourny?

    I guess this is what u call taking a big shot! lol.
  2. it's going to be a bad choice most of the time. But if you want it go ahead but you're probably busto after you play it.

    Guessing your still swimming in it then? ;)

    My only advise is to just not play with scared money, or meet half way and play the 2nd chance. GL
  6. Unless you can redeposit, its horrible bankroll management to "take a shot" with 88% of your bankroll. GL if you play as I have a feeling you are going to play either this or the 2nd chance regardless of bankroll management advice. Hopefully you bink it if you do play.

  7. I have thought long and hard about this all day, and I think I will follow ur advice guys and not play. What I will do instead is go back too grinding and set myself a goal so that I can then enter the L M and H O8 scoop events in April.

  8. majorly jealous that you're able to play a hi/lo event with that buy-in. but yeah you should probably hold off on it for now.

    FYP. But prob a good decision OP. Good luck in April.
  10. 100% unregister.

    Respect the low stakes, if your avg buy-in at micros is 4.40 you have 48 shots.

    be a reg at 2.20's and you have 96 buy-ins...

    wcoop is overrated unless you can play at least 10 events comfortably
  11. play a $30 satellite, you'll still have enough left to buy in outright if you don't win the seat, gl
  12. if u are going too feel sick if u don't cash than don't play it {scared money sucks}

  13. can't win if you don't play
  14. why don't you just play some like $25-50 mtt? I dk what stars schedule looks like but I bet you can find one with a good guarantee this weekend. too risky to play IMO but you only live once and it might be fun.
