I just saw this on another forum and I found it really interesting. He convinced some friends to play this player that he said was a huge fish and then convinced his online "friends" to let him sweat them through a program that allows you to see their cards in real time and it turns out that Jose Macedo was actually playing on the account that he was telling everyone was a huge fish. So he superused his online "friends" and stole money from them by being able to see their cards while he was playing them. He stole at least $30,000 probably a lot more. This is the worst thing that you can do as a poker player, I really wish people would get charged with theft for this type of stuff. I don't care how young he is, his reputation should be forever ruined for what he did.
Here is the link to the cliff notes, which are pretty long http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...-scam-1079792/. -
He was a sponsored by one of the poker sites as well. I used to find his story fascinating, but no longer.

with the money on offer in online poker i would not be surprised if this goes way deeper, there are some seriously intelligent criminals out there, and the poker pie is just a steaming hot tub of cash for them - i realise it is just plain dumb luck, but some plays you see in poker really makes you wonder - they are not bad beats, they are just ridonkulous!

Pretty absurd, not too mention a lot of hair on the story with Jungleman and Dogishead.

Isnt this the same guy that violated the TOS of Lock Poker, (the same site that hes a sponsored pro) let his backer play on his account from a different IP address during the Lock/Bluff mag. challenge, which he actually won, but was disqualified due to these violations? I believe he issued an apology for that as well.

Hes been apologizing a lot lately i guess..at least hes humble enough to do that and admit hes a cheater, but really what good does it do when your already a repeat offender ffs.
GG integrity, for Jose, and for poker in general IMO -
yah this guy was settn people up for the take at least chino rheems just blatantly asks for 20k on the spot johnny style

DIH just confirmed in a Bluff interview that he was operating the account that dumped a 100k to girah during the challenge. Tho he said it was done to fund girah's stake, and he didn't know there was a challenge.. LOL

I remember reading the article on 2p2 talking about his upcoming struggle and all...... Dumb kids will be dumb kids whether or not they have a lot of money or not.

lol at this part from the Bluff interview with DogIsHead:
"Did you ever act as Jose’s agent?"
"No. [blah, blah, blah]..."
"Why are there emails from you, where you explicitly state “I am acting as Jose’s agent”?"
"Oh, okay, I misspoke. The one thing that Jose and I did agree on was that it would be within my demesne to try to land him a deal with online training sites. [blah, blah, blah]"
LOL. Get him a deal with a site....like an AGENT would do for him? -
why would he loan an account anyhow how the fk does this girah not have any ability to open any account anywhere
-
he's not longer a pro at lock poker (i think), according to the two plus two thread. also read that people now think he's the one who started the original thread about himself to get attention which could be put this whole scam into motion

Anyone have cliff notes? WTF happened? Ghosting/cheating scandal?
-
I've probably spent 6-7 hours the last few days reading all this stuff and I still cant even tell you what's goin on.
DiH tried to take the fall for jungleman, but it has since come out that jungleman was playing 25/50 PLO on the Girahh account. There was also a $100k chip dump that Lock _supposedly_ covered up at the conclusion of the Bluff Competition. It's a pretty wild situation w/ some potentially serious implications for some of the nosebleed players. It's been a lot of fun reading it, but I'm kinda over it now.
Girah was running a teamviewer superuser scam for AT LEAST $30k, but again, there is a ton if speculation as to what could have really happened.
LOOOOOONG ass post from Haseeb outlining his version:
