Is saying anything to the guy going to stop him doing it next time?
As the short stack, are you going to let someone with a vested interest in you going broke affect your decision?
Pretty scummy thing to do, but not really anything you can do, unless you want to bring support in and see if they object to it aswell. -
I really was unsure , why i posted.
It doesn't happen that often in games i am in but ive been playing on a different site this week and have been surprised it has happened twice. Was unsure how to react , i gave the person a quick earful both times and asked them to shut up during a hand they are not involved in.
Nobody else at the table seemed to give a ..... though so it left me wondering if i am overreacting and there are just people who will do this. -
i'm the 1st to tell peeps to shut their mouth if they ever get involved with my action when they're observing only.
live or online that is completely uncalled for and i don't want it to ruin what i am trying too accomplish with my action, whether its getting chip extraction or a muck, keep your damn mouth shut its a huge disrespect too the game and very childishly unethical
i never forget playn live and 2 dudes were telln this chick she had too call me from her bb ,well i can't blow my top right than because i had a weak holding and didn't want too tip her off that i was afraid of a call,so i told her if she listens too thm its her choice and i pretended i was eager too flip my cards.
it worked but after the muck,i jumped down their throat and asked thm if they woulda liked me doing tht too them,i'm known live and online too speak up quick and loud in this type of situation,i am a big believer in poker respect
SLOW ROLLS DON'T COUNT this has become an online trend and i am proud too admit too over 10 this month while zero vs me...........................muahahahahahahahahaha hahah -
Gotta ignore it. Player chat is what it is. Saying "CALL" based purely on stack sizes is one thing, if they start yelling about calling based on a players trends or perceived skill level then thats another thing.

but yes it is very bad etiquette. Something I would expect online and there isn't much you can do about it...Live on the other hand I definitely say a thing or two to the guy after the hand plays out.
Thanks for the feedback guys , i don't think i overreacted after hearing some of your opinions.
As i mentioned i gave the person involved each time a few words then just got on with the game and didn't let it affect my play at all.
The thing that surprised me most was the person who done it the 2nd time had about 3000 MTT's under his belt.
