Howard Lederer breaks his silence on Full Tilt Poker in an interview with PokerNews, says he's just one man in a complicated situation.
Here's a recap of Part 1 in case you missed it:

Howard is such a POS, his main reasoning for everything really comes down to incompetence. "I asked the finance department this, they told me this" blah blah blah. You're still one of the heads of the company, whether or not what they say is true ultimately is your responsibility! "I haven't spoken to them....that's not my department...." He tilts me so much....
-
Totally agree that Howard is running the interview making it almost pointless to watch. He is just bullshitting and saying he had no clue about anything basically but if he did he asked for stats and it took forever to get them and he kinda understood what the accounting team was telling him which was complete bullshit.
-
part2 8.22sec in, the guilt looks written all over his face imo .
-
the guy doing the interview probably gave Howard's lawyer a list of questions he was going to ask before they started. When Howard shrugs off an answer with...idk, the interviewer doesn't push him for any other info...very passive. Basically Howard looked after marketing and software...everything else going on in the company he was clueless?? Howard may be a pos...but he isn't stupid either to just look at 'general' balance sheets that he received or only remembers the first name of the CFO of the company or anything about the payment processors.
Dissapointed in the interview. -
In Part 2 of PokerNews' Howard Lederer interview, the Full Tilt Poker front man talks about the UIGEA, Ray Bitar's response to one player's deposit question, and his decision to leave FTP: http://www.pocketfives.com/articles/...-uigea-587749/
-
Also, not sure if anyone saw this, but former FBI agent Joe Navarro evaluated the Lederer interview on his Twitter feed:

Navarro provides weekly "Tells" segments on ESPN's WSOP coverage. -
Its comical that someone who has such a great memory of poker hands that have happened and tendencies of players that he can't recall conversations, numbers, etc
-
why are they editing camera angles while Lederer is answering questions, its almost as if its staged in between each individual question and there were multiple takes for HL to answer a single question, pokernews intentionally edited any body fidgeting or poor body language HL has during his answers. The camera should be one continuous camera on HL. From 27:55 in part 1 the camera is on the interviewer for a full 27 secs while Howard is answering the question, why?
cliffs of parts 1 & 2: Howard pleads ignorance on every single financial issue, pins everything that went wrong on Ray -
you can tell in the first part that he has notes close by, or at least it appeared that he did
-
The first part - all about what he didnt do and no mention of what he did. Also terrible interview questions, there isnt a single question that angles to a yes or know response - simply a pre-staged "I am a victim" interview filmed prior to his latest DOJ amendments.
-
I counted 219 uhs and ums, sound about right?
-
this is just a BS and worthless interwiev, never have heard more "but i´m not sure" comments...
out of the context he said something like " i decided to work two more years for FTP and after that i was going for another 3 more years, but i´m not sure"
How the hell can u forget so many important facts...
and yeah Ray is the bad guy, he never was involved or knew about anything...just GFY HL this tilts me -
The camera angle edits are covering up edits/splices in what he said. I work as an editor at a TV network, it's the "oldest trick in the book" so to speak, if you are editing someone's answer you can't keep the video on him or the viewer will see the jump, so you cut to shots of the interviewer to cover the jump/cut in what he's saying.

All I'll say is I know they said it went on for 7 hours or whatever and they trimmed it down, I didn't bother watching all that much of it, but what I watched was dissapointingly edited rather liberally. -
Watched both. Bunch of fluff so far. I do find it incredibly hard to believe that the shareholders of this company were not all over these books. Howard claims Ray handled all the financials and everyone just kinda took his word that things were going well, even though he has no background in finance and many shareholders did not trust him. These guys were handling such an enormous amount of money that there just HAD to be more to this than what Howard is letting on.
Next few sections should be interesting. Kind of getting the impression Howard is throwing Ray under the bus here in an attempt to save face by claiming ignorance. There were definitely some spots that this interviewer could have pried a little bit harder. Specifically the topic of banking transparency. -
I completely agree it's been total fluff so far, and frankly pretty disappointing. I was very impressed that Poker News had this content coming out, and I'm sure it will generate a ton of views. I am still hoping it gets more interesting, but so far I haven't really found out anything I didn't know before and that's kind of a bummer
-
not that HL was coming off well at any point so far during these interviews, but WOW at Part 3.
also, tis is pretty relevant:

did chris and u had a conversation w/o ray at that night??
"i dont know if chris and i had a converation that night...i ´just dont remember"
so u get the news that FTP does stuck some amount over 100Milsky and Ray just told chris at that evening and HL doesnt remember if he and chris had a privat conversation that night...
is he kidding me? U clearly gonna remember every detail of that night obv
just lie after lie after lie...
