Okay, guys, this week's Rankings are now up with the new changes in effect:

ch0ppy is still #1, but we've had a few big player movements in the top 10. Congrats to Matt for hanging on for yet another week! -
Spoiler, totally biased thought coming... I would love to see the mtt sng grinders get a bit of love somehow, I'm not sure how that would happen but the reality of playing "volume" poker is these sng mtt's (e.g. 180's) represent a large percentage of the daily income of the pro/serious grinders. I guess the real question is, should our TLB represent who the best/most successful players are or who has had the most success in scheduled MTT's. (fwiw these are just thoughts, love to hear opinions) the last year of online in the U.S. these are pretty much what I played and I started to recognize some very good players (much better than myself!) that you might not hear of otherwise. Perhaps we could just included them in the badges? I'm sure this site was started for mostly scheduled mtt players but I love the growth and change I've seen thus far, perhaps this is another opportunity?

Sick jump. Probably a few people in your boat that were playing primarily on stars that are now getting their 25-40th highest PLB scores counted. It doesn't appear in general though it has had a major change in the top 100 other than a few people. Congrats on the overnight jump of almost 100 spots!

Good question - I am guessing that the country rankings haven't been updated yet. I will ask for this to be looked into.
-
and he is from netherlands too ^^

This issue has been fixed on your profile and all profiles and country rankings will be updated within 12 hours. It is taking a little more time than usual for the country rankings to update. Thank you for pointing this out to us and congrats again on your HUGE jump in the rankings!

go get yourself a new forum son

allani, can you please be more specific about what you don't like about the changes? Feedback helps us, but only if it's specific. Do you not like that the pro poll was removed, or is it the multi-site requirement we used to have? Those are the only things that were changed today

Make you a deal. No more posts in all caps and I'll answer any questions you have :)

The most likely way that someone would have jumped so much today is that they were a player who plays all or almost all of their tournaments on a single poker site. 40 tournaments count for the rankings, but prior to today, only 24 tournaments could count from a single poker site. So before if you only played on pokerstars, you'd only have 24 scores counting for the rankings. Now you can have up to 40. The biggest difference with this is that it eliminates the advantage that certain players had for having many scores across various sites as opposed to most or all of their scores on one site. -
11 ---- 35 th! and I kind of like it since I allways seam to move up when Im losing heaps/on downers which was kind of tilting/confusing :/.
Seriously tho, like flash_entity I never really had a clue how the system works but the changes seam a bit harsh and might have some brutal affects, like choppy pointed out: one big hit can make you move to number 1 instandly which seams a bit brutal idk...
But lets see how it develops and hopefully adapt it later on if needed. quality >volume!
