Anyone have any tips on how to win micro stakes tournaments, I'm talking less then 3 dollars. Always seem to have my money taken by some fish playing every hand and flopping sets. Any comments or strategy is welcome. Thank you

Look through the archives here or on any strategy site looking for how to play A B C poker. They are certainly beatable. Might to take some volume to overcome the variance of bigger fields, but in the end you can be successful. -
u can grind the doulble or nothing pretty easy the 1$ ones on merge to get br up. gl gl

Def look up info on beating low stakes. A good foundation based around optimal play should be ur number one goal. Moving up w/out this skill won't change anything except going broke faster. Losing money to fish that play a ton of hands is going to happen. They get lucky too. Even so u should be showing a profit at micros and then crushing them. Just my thoughts.

Volume at Micro level and playing Micro rebuys is were it is at.

fasteddee74 nailed it! get in some good volume (15-25 touney's on days u play) play the re-buys, turbo's and def mix in some bounty's. u'll see ur br grow and if u have br manegment u'll be beyond post like this op.

i would love to play in more variety of tourneys but betonline doesnt offer a wide variety, i hate the site but i cant win money on anywhere else, i dont deposit and freerolls are tough on merge and so on.

Play very tight for the first hour. Fold all of the crap that gets you into trouble and let the fish play a million hands and spread chips around.
When the blinds get bigger, people won't be playing as many hands. You can open up a little and try to chip up without going to showdown as much.
Obviously this doesn't eliminate all variance but it's a pretty solid base strategy for micros.
Oh, and get yourself a solid push/fold game for the later stages. -
Thanks Jaypo, I thats what I usually try to implement, today I played in a one dollar freezeout and got second place, was trying to be the agressor the whole time and it worked
