    i know ivey was a ftp pro. why are you mad at him though? i thought he was suing them too. Isnt he on our side? He protested in our favor last year by not playing wsop events. I understand being mad at lederer and ferguson but you cant go after everyone that was a ftp pro.

    what is absurd is all this politics about not letting us (as in you) play online poker, all the political BS that you guys have to put with just to play a game - totally crappy

    i can't believe some of you over there haven't started a movement on facebook or something to garner interest, it's not just poker.........it's everything else in the future that they won't let you do

    you have to make a stand now, and poker seems to be a good place to start, or life is going to get even more bloody miserable - seriously how can the people that you elect, not let you play a bloody game - it's horrendous to even think about

    use all that pent up emotion to start something.......

    whoa, hold on there. OP is from kentucky, he's not a yankee. :-)

    also, i doubt there are many on here who wouldn't have taken ivey's deal at ftp and collected the checks if they had the chance.

    it obv matters what intentions they had and how much they knew about the situation to judge how culpable they are. obv ftp was very poorly run and they should have made sure they had players funds available.

    we did all know tho that they were letting people play on funds that they werent actually collecting, so we prob should have been a little more concerned about that as well if we thought the sites were going to get shut down like they were.

    it is easy to sit and point at them and obv they shoulder a large % of the blame, but i think our gov't is bigger problem.

    I do feel Phil Ivey has been cool about this thing and on "our side"......I still think he should pop a few mil back to the players. Even if he didn't know anything he still has what 20+ million of our money.......just saying.

    Ivey appears to be on our side from his actions. Doesn't mean he wasn't gutting the community for its money. Doesn't mean he was either.
