P5s ranking is garbage imo.

    As of now, everyone who has scores in the last year tracked to their P5s profile is ranked. They can be ranked in their home country, state or even their town. This makes the rankings fun and inclusive for many people out there.

    This type of system is as much of a leaderboard as the ATP tennis ranking, to give a sports-related example. If you don't play tennis tournament (or aren't winning when you do play), you won't be ranked as high as other players who are playing regularly and winning. This does mean that sometimes the highest volume players end up above people that they can't beat one-on-one. But it's the nature of a lot of statistical leaderboards that are fun to follow and generally interesting.

    Back on poker and P5s....we're comfortable with the direction we've gone with this. We know other sites have done what we'd consider much more controversial and datamined players' buy ins, losses at the tables, etc. We aren't comfortable doing that, and we have always felt strongly that doing so is not in the best interest of poker.

    I dig that post there Mr. Adam....That kinda stuff Is why I like it here..I feel part of it, even as a advanced fish only!!!
    Over at pew+pew I feel surrounded by fannie rapers and mean strict nuns, just waiting in cyberspace for someone to say anything about anything so they can hop in and not understand you....

    Best of all, here, all them pro's check in to see the rankings!! Some lie and deny, but there all looking..And thats really cool for me, the fan/student..I can do the same thing, and see my name on the same list as Deeb and bigdog!! So what if Im 7, 365th, I still dig it!...One day, that one pro, 00pocket00pocket0 called me a rndm fk..Dont know what that means, but it was cool for a big rich pro acknowledge a new guy like me...Its awesome here, I love it...
