  1. In case you missed it, Phil Galfond posted a pretty interesting and revealing look at Viktor Blom's PLO and NL game over the years:

It's not too often you see pros do this, so it's a pretty good read about the evolution of one of poker's most feared names. What did you guys think of Galfond's blog?

  2. This non caring about money is what I see with 2 friends of my that play high stakes, they just walk around with there laptop poring in some coffee and make the same time a click for a pot of 50k... When they lose nothing seem to happen... only this "I have to get him back" feeling...not the money...it's just collecting points in there eyes. I think anyone that cares to much about the money is not going to be able to play those high limits 100% succesfull.

Its like what galfond says, when you start thinking of the money involved it inhibits your ability to play your best and people who approach poker purely as a job for financial reasons will have a very hard time becoming the best of the best and to actually be great you need to love the game and have fun playing. Id like to hear other online pros take on that comment mind, it would be interesting to hear if everyone agrees with this.
