Hi.
The thread is currently blocked so wanted to post here so all is clear.
I went to EPT berlin last minute. Patrick (pleno) reccomended to me lewis hunter had a spare bed and me and lewis got tlking. He defo seemed genuine, nice guy. We met for the first time in germany.
We got on real good straight away, played an online session together and spoke about poker / life / women etc etc.
We briefly discussed a swap that night, but nothing concrete.
The next morrning (the morning before the torny) lewis suggested a 5% swap.
For people that know me well, know that i rarely swap (i often sell, but rarely swap). I neither accepted this swap nor declined it, and we never came to any particular agreement, it was all a bit cloudy tbh (poor communication on both our parts for sure). The fact was that i only had a small piece of myself and was some on MU etc so there is NO WAY i would of swapped 5% with ANYONE, especially someone whom i have never seen play poker and someone whom i know nothing about there game.
We went into the main event with nothing concrete agreed (obviously this was down to poor communication on both parts).
Lewis busted the torny early and i finished day 1 with a really big stack.
Nothing was said about the % untill the end of day 3, where i said he would have 5% of what i made from the torny. This was the only possible swap i would of done.
As i said NO SWAP was agreed, but lewis was genuine and he had in his mind that we had a swap of some kind. I want to make it clear that me and lewis did get on very well and i would of classed him as a mate after knowing him for a very little period of time.
Coming home from germany straight away after busting in 7th was due to f tilt obviously and didnt even think about giving him a "drink" from the score.
We spoke online after germany and i snap sent him some money that i owed towards the room / room sevrice etc (i sent this money on the day he asked for it np, and im sure he will say so). He asked for the % (5% in his mind). I wanted to ask the opinion of some others before agreeing an mount with him, and in the end i asked him if we should get someone to mediate. I spoke to pleno about it and he said in lewis's mind we did have a 5% swap, and i do believe that he thought this, but as i said, i would of NO WAY agreed to a full 5% swap.
Im sorry if people on here wana take sides etc, but this was between me and lewis and i feel he should of just waited untill i finished in vegas then we could of sorted it properly.
putting it on here cant help in anyway.
Will answer any questions that are constructive. Im going to contact lewis away from the public eye in an attempt to resolve this fast.
I have sold MANY packages in blonde over the past 2 years and won alot for blonde members. I have allways paid as fast as possible and im sure regular buyers would vouch for that. I paid out investers alot of money after EPT berlin and have had large online scores too. I am friends with alot of blonde memebers and i feel i have acted honestly and made sure everything has been perfect to the best of my ability.
I am really disapointed by this thread and i could do without it while playing the wsop main.

Seems like a perfect way to screw somebody you don't know that well to me. Freerollin for 5% of him. I don't see how you can say we discussed it but I never said yes or no.. I don't know either of you at all but if I was you I would honor the 5% and say I guess we had a mix up I'm sorry. But you Obv don't care about anything but yourself. And its Obv all you do is fn lie to everyone. Hope you run like shit the rest of your life and everyone finally sees how big of a pos u are.

Just Why? How does somebody that is traveling the world basically freerolling life, idk about his specific backing situation but can imagine expenses along with buy-ins are paid for, just continue to try and scam/angle people and think he can get away with it. It's just so disappointing and hurts the rest of us in the long run.

I 100% didnt swap 5% with this guy. I wouldnt swap such a large amount of myself. I often sell action / am backed, but i dont swap unless its a rare case. He asked for a swap, but i had never seen him play a hand of poker in my life, and it could of been a hugely -EV swap for me. Yh im pretty arrogant also and would rate my equity much higher in that comp than his.
Myself and lewis should of clarified for sure what we were swapping pre torny. This was not done. Lewis did seem cool and he assured me that i would of received 5% from him had he lasted longer in the comp. So for this reason i have communicated with him today and im going to pay him the money. Its pretty messed up as for sure i didnt agree to 5%, i only had like 30% of myself etc.
In regards to griffins post on 2p2, i swapped with a online friend "cal4268" in berlin on day 4 or sumit. At the time we both had big stacks and i know his game to be one of the best around for sure. swappin with calvin is defo a good idea when he has chips. Post berlin scoop came around quick and any money online was my backers or investers of my scoop action and i didnt ship calvin the money straight away. I have sent him $2k of it (might be 1500, im unable to check stars history at the moment as in vegas), but still owe him some. This was due to lazyness on my part tbh. I spoke to cal alot over scoop, we discussed some strat etc.
Since my failings in the past (about 2-3 years ago i degned of a ton of money spors betting and owed a ton of people money), i have grinded very hard to get back in a good posiiton both financially and morally. I have recovered my rep somewhat and have been pretty successfull at both online and live poker. This story is obv pretty tilting cos people snap jump on the bandwagon of "marc is a scammer" "once a POS allways a POS", and i totally understand why. But believe it or not, this was a genuine communication error with lewis and although i delayed paying him, it was because i was trying to find a fair solution to the issue (he thought he had 5%, i new he didnt).
Main point is, im going to pay lewis as soon as im home probably via stars. Ill take a bit of shit in chat boxes again for a few weeks then most will leave it (redice rap might continue it ;-)

Thats all you have to say...dealt with you for a few message only on skype and it took you only that not to stick to your word so i am not surprised at all you should get your act together and grow up a bit man.
People dont jump to a position like that once a scammer always a scammer you give the stick to get beaten and if you dont get that then idk what world you live in. Some stuff happen always to the same people and yet they seem not to understand why or feel the whole world is against them!! Maybe think about it and analyse yourself a bit instead of putting yourself as a victim..disgusting

So I see Marc Wright on top of the Main event leaderboard. I recognise his name from watching EPT final table Berlin. I like how he plays, I like aggressive players. I didnt mind his semi bluff shove, Played him a bit on stars. BUT, when i google his name to find out his online screen name, it takes me 1 min to find this big storm about a swap. I had actually read a little on here initially, before I was directed to 2plus 2 after the google.
WTF, I have never seen a skype/message feed which illustrates how obvious it is that this guy is completely non trustworthy.
Mate, every single thing you say gives away SO MUCH INFORMATION that you are a liar and can not pay what you owe. You obviously are in some kind of self denial once you WIN money. You are trying to convince yourself that this other person does not deserve such 5 percent of 120k or water it was and attempting to persuade this OP that less is fine since he did not 'earn' it.
A SWAP IS BLACK AND WHITE. You either did it or you didn't. What is worse is you continually try to make up excuses that you have trouble trying to get him the money. WTF. You are one of the best online tourney player son p stars and have plenty of cash. You just make the matter worse and worse.
It is a pity you have to deal with this during the Main event, but what goes around comes around. Anyone who tries weaselling out of a swap or whatever else it is, is a complete scum. I think the most relevant part to all this is EVERYONE knows you have plenty of cash based on results and you attempted to say you had issues rounding up the cash..
I did just read what apes are fun posted..sorry dont know how to do all this referral to other posts etc. But he is right. You a good talker and can change people opinions easy and influence people. Con artists never survive in the poker world however. There are too many smart players who will expose you. You have been exposed. What you going to do now?
