Great way to exponentially get the message out.

I'm a newcomer to Twitter, but follow Andy Glockner for college hoops (SI.com writer). http://twitter.com/#!/AndyGlockner
Andy's tweets from last night:
"That poker is banned as a game of luck but fantasy sports -- in which people bet and hope other people produce -- isn't it ridiculous."
"I'm sure the legal argument is that you don't *have* to bet on fantasy, so it's completely unregulateable. Still ridiculous in reality."
"A poker pro legendarily won an online tournament while never looking at her hole cards, but yeah, it's a game of luck like the lottery. Sigh"
Retweet away. -
My overall reason for this post is this:
1. Writers like Glockner crave attention and followers. They know that their future earnings potential is tied to their overall following (see Bill Simmons).
2. They tend to discuss topics which earn them more feedback and followers.
3. Glockner obviously understands the pro poker argument.
4. The more mainstream exposure, the better. -
The NFL lobbied heavily for the UIGEA with a special carve-out for, you guessed it, fantasy football.
