He is banned on Hero, and usually that cascades into a network wide ban, but I do not know if that has occurred.

This is all pretty crazy. I consider myself friends with both Tyson and Jeff. I used to skype with them a ton last year during sessions. I have to say I'm pretty surprised by all of this. First off, I wanted to say that Tyson, the OP, is a very good person that not only plays poker but also has a full time job as well. Since I've known him he seemed to always have his shit together. He's a very nice guy that would give you the shirt off his back, so I can honestly see how he could get scammed like this.

Jeff seemed very nice. He has a wife and kid. I'm not sure what the child support thing was about someone mentioned earlier. Maybe he got divorced since I last talked to him a few months ago. I do want to say one thing. Although I always found Jeff as a good person, I had something stuck in the back of my mind that he once told me. He claimed he had a "host" at Stratosphere in Vegas that would hook him up anytime he wanted because he was such a sick degenerate at the slots. lol. That always had me worried that he may not have the stability to have longevity success in the poker world.

I guess it all kind of snowballed, and his degeneracy has gotten the best of him. As much as I don't want to think someone like Jeff would try to scam people, there is just too much damning evidence here. He is clearly a chronic liar. All those bad things don't happen to people in that short of a span. All the people dying, in hospital, sick, etc happens to him in one year that would happen to a normal person in 10 years. I've seen this a few times with people outside the poker world. It's too obvious when you have an excuse literally every time you're asked to transfer money.

Jeff has asked me to back him a few times on bodog/bovada in the last 6 months or so. I'm glad I didn't do it now. Hell, now that Bodog has gone anonymous, there would be no way to track what a chronic liar has won or lost!

I don't get it, is everyone on the internet naive and have no social skills?

Pretty sure I learned this lesson in grade school when some kid wants a part of your lunch and promises to bring back 2 the next day of the same item then comes to school with excuses as to why he doesn't have it.

I'm not being sinister and I do hope you get your money back, but there is a rule of thumb you should have with money and it is if you lend it out don't expect it back, cause you are very likely to be burned. Also you should limit who you lend money to , ie immediate family and friends you have known for years and years.

To even think this guy isn't the biggest piece of shit ever, put yourself in his shoes and look through his eyes, he sees easy marks that fall for stupid sob stories, to be able to have a clean conscience and continually hassle multiple different people for money for his kids, or grandma dieing or some other bullshit excuse is hilarious. Have we not even heard the term there are no friends in poker?

I also find it disturbing that people are coming in here and saying he is still a good person. He doesn't give a shit about any of you and he has clearly stated that but robbing many of you. Quit sticking up for him, get a fucking backbone and do something about it. After years of lurking on this site and posting it is almost amusing at this point how people are still surprised people are getting ripped off from people on the internet. Reminds me of the Nigerian scammers still getting away with what they do, or they people calling from India telling you your computer has a virus. loooooool

If anyone wants or needs current info on this guy just contact me here. Jeffrey DOES live in Washington state and owes everybody money, from you nice people here to relatives and friends. Perhaps someone should move forward with legal action against this con-artist/thief. I believe that some people are going to be doing this soon, but obviously you will need his current relevant info if one wants to take legal action against Jeffrey May.

jeff is not a stand up guy. at least not currently. stand up guys don't give you the runaround for 6 months when they clearly have no intention or ability to pay. maybe jeff used to be a good guy, but currently right now he is not. nothing more annoying than seeing guys who are profitable across all sites, but somehow have no profit

also, op and other potential stakers need to be way more careful and picky with who they stake, and for how much and how long. theres a reason why guys need to be staked, and it's usually not a good reason

Jeffrey May, career criminal, is he Udoneit3 or just a naive friend that stands up for people that commit grand theft, are scammers, liars, and scum? If you are not Jeff, you might want to pick better spots to help your friend than your post here as he stole a ton of money from multiple people. Also, you might want to be careful leaving your wallet around your "friend" who is known to steal from people that put trust in him. Jeffrey May is a criminal, deserves to be in jail, and probably at this point the only thing keeping him out is that online poker isn't regulated in the US. There is still a case to put this scammer, criminal, and thief behind bars since playing online poker is not the illegal part.

For a while, when one GOOGLED Jeffrey May's name, the "Warning! re: Jeffrey May/SilentNut (Long)" would show right up. Now, for some reason you have to scroll down to the end of the page and look at the bottom lower left and click on "Jeffrey May Poker", in order to be able to read about this asshole con-artist. Anyone know how to get him back up and in front on the first GOOGLE page? We really need to be proactive about this asshole. If he's still gambling online here as is suggested in the post above, obviously he's still borrowing money from somebody? Cus he sure won't work one day in his dishonest life. He learned long ago how to live off others.
