  1. Just wondering if there is any other sites out there that track MTTs for stars like OPR used to before today. Thoughts on opr not showing roi or profit for pokerstars anymore?
  2. Sharkscope i use but got to pay.
  3. wht bout bluff mag they still tracking?

  4. FYI I think sharkscope is doing something different with stars' scores now. I searched an alias that has my name across all sites and it said the stars scores were excluded pending an opt-in? or something like that.

Only if your using free searches. If you sign up and pay i believe this doesnt matter.
  6. Pokerprolabs not too bad
  7. pokerprolabs is the other one i couldnt think of the name

  8. We've kind of always assumed that the more legit poker rooms would eventually come down hard on this kind of stuff. It's just not information they want being out there...

Not sure how it was before, but I'm getting this notice even with paid searches.

  10. On sharkscope the player has to opt in for anyone to see his stats. If they don't opt in then no one can see their stats. You can't even see your own stats until you opt in. I think this is only for pokerstars.

My bad if this is the case im not 100% but ive never searched anyone who has opt in still on.
  13. u have to opt in on pokerprolabs too
  14. thepokerdb? I haven't used it in a long time but they were always good for looking up people who had excluded on opr.
  15. Soon we will register for a live tournament under anonymous and be able to wear a mask at the table. I can see banning huds before these websites. IMO

    Why is this?
  18. everyone is now opted out on all sites, you have to opt in and pay 1c to get your results shown, irrespective of whether you have a paid subscription or not

    bloody good idea

If they didn't you can blame the people that berate them in the chat box with their stats which is probably one of the reasons stars took this step was to make it a more enjoyable place for people to play.
  21. This is a bummer. Tourney tracking is a little different to me than tracking cash games. Live tourney stats have been publicly tracked "forever" and has been viewed as an acceptable practice amongst poker players.

  23. the fish r too emo and don't want ther feelings hurt when someone brings up the fact they have a -250% roii while they r braggin about ther sweet stack size at 50/100...hahaha

  24. opr still works fairly well. you can still see all of a players scores, their opr ranking each year and for the last 120 days, how much volume they play, and the avg finish % thing can be a pretty good indicator, esp if they are esp bad.

Because they consider it a violation of privacy to display information about how much money people have *lost* playing on their sites. Something like showing cashes is a bit different because it doesn't actually show how much people spent to get those cashes and doesn't give people a real good idea of who's a losing player. It highlights accomplishments rather than "Who's the biggest degen/loser" and doesn't lead to people getting berated or discouraged from playing.

They do when other players at their table inevitably berate them for having a losing record. If everyone playing poker were mature enough not to go off about this kind of stuff every time they take a bad beat, this would probably be much less of an issue. But I guarantee you it doesn't feel too good when some guy who likes to play with his friends and online sometimes plays a hand badly (like he usually does, probably), gets lucky and wins, is excited about it and then gets directed by the player he just knocked out to some site that says he sucks at poker. Probably doesn't feel too good at all.

Some stats are published, cashes primarily. But I've never seen any site that tracks live buy ins and ROI data. Generally casinos don't publish or give out entry lists anyway - only cash lists. So you never really know whether someone's a winner or loser based on what you see. And I know everyone thinks they're entitled to all possible information in the world, but really this stuff is probably better off left alone

  26. WSOP now has entry and cash data so we'll see ROI data start to build up over the next few years

let me know if you can find anywhere that shows my roi at +4200% as I can't find it anywhere and i'm so sad no one can see how well i'm doing

you can opt in if you want to show off your amazing 4200% roi. i opted in to follow my results and to show off my massive 9% roi.

  29. As much as I miss being able to look people up I think I agree with star's decisions. Nothing makes me more mad than seeing someone mention someone else's stats at the table. I makes no sense for people to be rude to fish, casino's give their whales free rooms, drinks, food etc. as profesionals its our job to make the fish feel welcome. Not having these sites will probably keep more fish playing which is invariably good for winning players.

Having a -250 roi is impossible.
