While i know it's unacceptable to tilt when playing poker - I've still managed to put 3 full sessions in although I was in a very an anxious mood. Good thing I've at least won a few bucks at the end. I've just noticed what I've done after reviewing the sessions and analyzing them.
Besides making some pretty dumb mistakes - I got a little angry in the chat box several times, which usually I hate players to do.
Why would I berate fish or act like a fool? It's just dumb and I do not help anybody by doing so - why don't I just stfu?!
Things won't change anyway.
I'd rather fix some leaks which I obviously could do since I know I still have so many :(
The poker table and the way someone plays is a mirror of life in a sense (pretty philosophical I know) and I should probably bring a lot more balance into life.
Sitting behind the computer for a few days and not doing anything else except eating and sleeping, that's not me - I'm not the eat-sleep-poker guy and I'm not interested in being one
Got to create a schedule for myself with enough time for everything else but poker - I think a lot of people don't get the maximum out of themselves by simply living an unbalanced life.
I've just noticed I am one of them and hope I will do better in the future in order to not only improve my poker game, but improving life in general as well. And I don't need to take a session in every day just because I think I have to - that's nonsens.
Oh well, I thought I just need to share this and I think this is a good place to to it.
Sorry for wasting 3 minutes of your valuable time ^^
Tilt is pretty bad. Find a way to avoid it like saying nice hand even though you're fuming.
I do the same as djdoodoo... It helped me a lot.
