I was discussing who did and didn't move and who can name me players who didnt relocate and stayed in the USA or just stopped playing poker full time (MTT players)..
SNG player and sometimes some high stakes MTT is Olivier Busquete..
Further I only know thebattler who didnt relocate and crushes merge atm. -
pretty sure alot of top players didn't move. there seems to be a good number of mid-stakes grinders who made the choice to move as their full time job was basically grinding mtts online. meanwhile, theres a certain level of pros whose net worth was high enough (and their skills were good enough) where they could rely on live cash and live mtts/circuit events.

I personaly think grinding live tournaments profesionally is reallllly tough unless youve got a very long breath and a lot of $s behind or some good savings and a good backingsdeal and play a high ABI$..
The sample size is small.. costs are high (travel, hotel, food, drinks, transports etc). I think grinding online is tougher then live mtts in terms of skill. Only income is more stable, costs are lower, mtts have lower buy-ins and good price pools/field sizes and variance is lower because of higher volume. Cash games live however can be very juicy and maybe worth staying there if you choose the continue playing poker as a profession.
And yeah, forgot about "allinwithdabest". :) -
babyshark33/thebattler33, he seems to be killin it on merge, ranked no1 on opr, very fun player to watch.

1sick prob sticks out the most, since his SN was on the top of every MTT list on FTP and PS, every hour of every day.
