yep thats right, my bad. i think he made the move quite recently tho. like < 6 months ago i think.
too bad that PTR doesn't track thoses games anymore! i remember he won a lot for his first 20k hands or so. this guy really rapes! -
LOL most of the guys mentioned are way above grinding Merge. If they got the itch for poker, they would rather go play 5/10 live cash than grind on a lol-rigged Merge and their 2k to first 80 rebuys.
-
Yea, I 'd say many of these guys play live these days. They have been around the poker game for a while and probably have moved on in their personal life. Wife, Kids, Girlfriend, Own property here. So they don't move to grind stars/party and just play Live, probably tournaments and cash to reduce the variance. They will play on merge when a big series is going on or log on to play the 215-530s.

Poker was always an avenue for something new. I had a lot of success and I'm very thankful for that, but it's too mentally straining to do as a career, at least for me. I think now that it isn't my primary source of income, I'll find it more enjoyable again when internet poker comes back, but I'm not sure. I went to school to be a teacher and then when I graduated I didn't want to do it, but now that I took a few years off from it there's nothing I'd rather be doing.

Oh, and I never won the Sunday Million. I got third in it two times, but I chopped it once 4-handed for the largest payday. -
Nice congrats gl in the future.
