    I was wondering that if he hasnt played since the 20th nov how as he climbed to the top of the leaderboard the last 3 weeks, probably a stupid question but im a bit clueless to how the rankings work.

    pro poll voting helped him, jdpc, nigdawg, and vinkky all have higher plbs but not a very good pro poll score, vinkyy being 49th really makes no sense at all actually

    I've been saying to my friends for a while now that I think Telks might be the best online tourney player in the world right now (mad respect for a bunch of others, of course.) The kid is pretty much the perfect blend of aggression without spew. If anyone wants to learn how to crush, watch him deep in tourneys. Congrats, Mike.

    I agree that it seems silly. I'm not sure how I feel about pro polls, I like the idea that some random guy can't win a few majors and auto be at the top but I think alot of dumb shit comes out of the pro poll system.

    With vinkyy tho, thats how p5s rankings work. You don't automagically jump to ur proper spot. 1st plb and 17th pro is gonna end up in top 10 for sure.

    Literally just all of this. One of my first hero's and still is. Somebody that I met when grinding low $ FO's and he just kept passing by everybody in his way up to raping it all. Staying up to watch telks crush a 1k or get some insight on a 25/50 hand are some of my best memories. This is 100% deserved and like DB says, doubt Telks really gaf about rankings. One of the most laxed dudes i've ever met.
