Least favorite everyday feeling you might get from poker: multiple final table bubbles in one day. you know youre doing something right and that you just cant do anything about losing high equity pots...realizing how good one really has to run to win a tournament. *edit* worst feeling by far is knowing that the game was taken away from me after devoting 20+ hours a week to it over the last few years. even when i wasnt playing i was reading forums, studying, talking to friends, sweating etc. ahving that stripped from me is the worst. ive formed dozens of relationships on account of poker and a lot of them are inevitably going to fade away as these people live halfway across the country/world and the common bond we had between us has now been removed. in a way its like losing touch with friends you had in high school or college, but at least there you had some sort of control or at least saw it coming...

Have you enjoyed it: Absolutely; would repeat the experience over and over again. With all the up and downs, swings of Fortune, stress, beats given and taken, and specially because I met my wife playing online poker. Like Doyle says : It was a hell of a ride!

Best poker feeling: Most of my great moments came in live play, like shipping a pot of gold event in reno for $4,000 and running all the old nits over at the final table.
Worst poker feeling: All the 2-3 outers deep and left wondering-what might have been.

Favorite Online Poker Memory: I could go with the easy answer of chopping the 3r for 11.5k because it was my biggest score to date and it felt so gratifying to finally get a 5 figure score, but it actually was a hand I played in a random sunday 109 in fall last year. I basically played 55s and under and took shots in the mil, 750k, and the early sunday 109 so it was a pretty big buyin for me. I opened with 35 bbs with Qs8s, the button 3bet, and then pearljammer cold 4bet in the small blind. I'd been opening a ton and pearljammer had been 3betting a bit against the button who also had an aggressive image. I pretty much instantly 5bet allin and they both snapfolded. That was the first time I ever felt like "OK I can be good at this game."
Least Favorite Online Poker memory: USACoop Main Event Day 2. I came into day 2 middle of the pack with 100 left and ended up just destroying my early table to the point where i was 5/74 and had a million bbs. First was 160k and I was feeling really good about chances because over the course of the 2 days, I'd never played better in my life. I then got moved to a table with gboro and cal42688. I ended up just getting raped for basically an hour straight. I don't think I won a single pot off either of them. I never felt so thoroughly outclassed a a table. I ended up busting 41st and was unbelievably down on myself for a long time because I felt like I had just blown an amazing opportunity.
All time favorite MTT: stars 3r
Least favorite MTT: stars 22c. made a billion deep runs in it but only FTed it twice and been 1/4 and 1/5 both those times only to get unbelievably fucked and end up getting 4th and 5th. Might never win it now :(

Worst things you did with your poker money: probably just too much on good food and clothes but it really wasn't all that bad anyway
Favorite everyday feeling you might get from poker: Getting into a preflop leveling war with someone and just owning them

Favorite Online Poker Memory: A few come to mind. Won the stars 3r for 6k in 2006 when I had a $500 roll. Was obv a massive boost and also my first MTT win. Was a super broke college student at the time and 6k buys a lot of beer. Also my first triple crown was pretty huge because I had bubbled a triple crown several times (two firsts and a second). Felt sooooo satisfying to finally ship it.

All time favorite MTT: 100 1r1a on ftp was my fav for a long time. Won it twice. Now I lol at that fact when I look at the field. Such a fking shark tank. Haven't played it in a couple years tho since it has gotten so fking tough. I guess my overall fav tho are the big stars rebuys. 1r, 3r, 5r, and 10r.
Least favorite MTT: stars million and ftp 750k. Down outrageous amounts of money between the two.
Best things you did with your poker money: Went to europe for a month. Been to china twice. Went the the bahamas, as well as a fare bit of travelling within the US. Good memories.
Worst things you did with your poker money: Ick, lots of stuff. Nothing particularly stupid comes to mind but lots of just stupid spending that wasn't necessary.

Least Favorite Online Poker memory: shoved KQ for 18bbs with 11 left in an ftops main event, got called by the bb who had like 68bbs and his 68o. he binks a 6 on the flop. i sat stunned in front of my comp for about 30mins. 432k up top.
All time favorite MTT: FTP 5050. won the first one ever, bought in on a $320 bankroll. won it another time and had some other final tables in it. also double finaled it and merged stacks in the recent multi entry dub gtd week.

Favorite Online Poker Memory: Playing on the Cake Network where everyone could change their name and thinking that the guy that called himself Alex Kamerbis was a real clown for using someone else’s until his name appeared in purple in the chat box (he had just been signed a few days earlier). I pushed hard for lessons and he told me to hit em up on facebook. I was one of the first guys he trained. My favorite memory was sending him Pokerstar “before and after” results. He continues to impress me. I only wish I had my shit together when I was that young.
Least Favorite Online Poker memory: Deciding to go big and play the 1K on UB. I lost the majority of my stack with 44 and a flop of A44 to quad sixes (yeah, that’s right, quad sixes) AND then someone accused me of chip dumping based on the way I played the hand. The guy apologized on P5 shortly after, but talk about insult to injury.
All time favorite MTT: 50r on UB at 19:00. I loved that tournament almost as much as my wife.
Best things you did with your poker money: Winnings from Poker made me place less value on money, in general. I used most of my profit as a slush fund for family vacations

Good stuff guys! this is so sad, I know this is supposed to be a feel good thread, but like c_c said it does feel like high school is over and the graduation song is playing and everyone is saying their goodbyes :( I miss playing with my American friends, it saddens me and I don't enjoy online poker half as much as I used too...I hope that the big 3 gets regulation, the US Government gets their piece of the pie and everyone is back up and crushing. Hope it happens and so0o0on!!!!!

Favorite online memory: Winning the fifty fifty the first time I played it with $200 buck in acct back in college. Will never forget that feeling, check cashier every 5 minutes making sure I wasnt dreaming bc my account had never been over 700 bucks grinding 10 dolla 9 mans.
Least favorite online moment: The countless 2 outers with less than 3 tables left, but the one Ill never forget was back in 07' playing the big $322 FTOPS and guy open shoving 45bb utg and I call off my 40bbs w KK and his AJ wins with about 300 left for a top 50 stack.

I remember I had $600 left so obviously moved up to 3/6 got all in with oesfd vs set I hit turn and board paired on the river, it was like getting sucker punched.

I also really liked when I would run into someone from high school and they would ask what I was doing for a living, getting to say professional poker player made me smile on the inside everytime I said it.

I recently played live in a sweet $150 buy in $10k. Typically you might see one or two decent players but since black friday, there were two online pros, and 6 total decent internet guys at my first table alone. Favorite Online Poker Memory: Winning my first WSOP main event seat on Bodog way back in the day. I remember the little popup message that said "Congratulations you have finished in 1st place and won WSOP package" I left that table open on my computer til they closed it. I remember taking my roommate at the time to Denny's for Oreo shakes at like 3 am. This became a tradition, whenever I would have a 5 figure score/10k satty win we'd go get oreo shakes. Done this every time since even though now I'm married with a kid and live an hour away. Can't break tradition. He insists he likes getting an ''oreo shakes?" text late at night more than a booty call text.

Best things you did with your poker money: took my family to the Bahamas for PCA 2010. Was more of a vacation than a poker trip but was very fun. Swam with dolphins and did snorkeling in one of the aquariums
Worst things you did with your poker money: got scammed for like $150 after a guy was messing with me for like 2 weeks. Lol gg me?
Favorite everyday feeling you might get from poker: the feeling of accomplishment when you take down an mTT. Just feels so euphoric
Least favorite everyday feeling you might get from poker: getting DCed, flopping a set with 7 ppl to the flop and everyone c/fs in the Sunday millions
