I know this is prob personal prefrence but does having 2x27"monitors not put you off at all? I have 1 27" and a 17"(i think) and i struggle as i like 1 screen right in my face so i find it hard to look around the whole screen at tables. Just curious if you have all poker tables across both monitors and have them further away, or tables on 1 and music, net, porn what have you on other one ;)

Also i play games while i 1-2 table but it depends on the game your playing lol Tiger woods i can 6 table, Fifa 12 i cant 1 table. =/
  2. Yeah i dont tile while 9+ tabling, its really annoying to move the head all the time, i rather pick out the tables that need my attention out of the cascaded ones to the right of my left screen and use the second monitor for the things u mentioned
  3. pretty interesting to hear some of the responses itt. sometimes i feel like I over think things sometimes, If im playing music or have things going on then Im not playing optimally i.e. im not reading players well enough. i dont use any software, idk if that makes a difference or allows you to focus less on players and look at the stats. its about time I get into using software, it just seems like a bitch to use, plus bovada doesnt accept the use of software I believe

  4. I usually have a movie or show on tv that i've already seen and like. I don't generally watch anything I haven't seen as it would be a distraction. My set up is my living room couch on a laptop. Sometimes with a baby on my arm late if he wakes up.

  5. Just me, my laptop, my recliner with the feet up. Not usually tv, but I depending on the number of tables I have up I may multitask around the house and/or surf the web, or work on my real job.

  7. First few years of my online playing I was always on a laptop usually in front of a television. In 2010 when I got serious and wanted to stop losing I would always shower and eat before I started and then play my session like I was working, but with leisure. I would play at a table I use as a desk, with a macbookpro, and a 27" apple cinema display. I use the 27" for all the tables and the laptop for the lobbies and webpages and itunes and such. I occasionally will have sports on the television but that is behind me and to the right 8 feet so its more for sound. I do believe there are things you can do to help play optimally. Getting up on breaks and eating and drinking properly to an extent can all help. I have seen several scores made when a player is distracted and plays a little tighter than normal but I wouldn't read to much into it, we have seen people win lots of different ways. Moral of the story is to probably try and reduce distractions as you see fit and get in you own comfort zone. Good luck.

  8. 2 monitors (one is 32in TV), big desk, nice swivel chair, arm rest mouse pad, quiet room, no tv, music, water, pop, candy/gum, and my 2 footer... I just cant have a tv on while grinding, only music...
