  1. Hey all,

when i install party and want to start the client it always comes an error message saying "side-by-side configuration is not legit, further details are in the sxstrace.exe"
I googled a bit and found out that i often have to install the right librarys at Microsoft Visual C++ 2008. When i do this there comes and Error 1935 etc...

I dont have any problems with other programms.
I dont have a real clue of computers :-)
I have Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 32 bit.

I send 15 $ on stars to the person who can help me..

Hope this is the right forum.

    Thanks

  2. Its a shame to be at work...

    GL m8te !!
  3. yeah thanks... tried everything(i dont have that much clue of computers), lets see if sbdy is more of an expert :-)

  4. your registry is corrupted with malware. the only way to fix this is to start fresh again and re-install windows7. for next time install anti-virus like ad-aware that detects and cleans at the same time. oh and avoid porn sites.
  5. hey, i have a anti virus programm which runs all the time (gdata). partypoker is the only site which doesnt work everything else is fine. So if i skip PartyPoker do i have any risks when not installing it new?

  6. Ok the bottom one seems to be the right fix but theres a few other options as well which I've put in.

SideBySide errors are typically caused by the current Microsoft Visual C++ version not being backward compatible with the application that failed. The Event ID 33 error message is typically: Activation context generation failed for “program name”..Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis. There are other similar SideBySide errors with the same problem of backward compatibility. If the software works OK then you don't have to fix it but if it does not or you want to get rid of this error here are two Fixes:

    1) Reinstall or Repair (preferred if an option) the application. Often the installation package will have the version of Microsoft Visual C++ that it uses and will install it.

    2) Try to figure out what Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package version (available versions are: 2003, 2005, 2008, & 2010) the application needs (most likely the one that came out prior to the date that the application software was created; check the dates of the files in the package). . These are available through Microsoft's Downloads.
Worse comes to worse you can just try installing a previous version to see if it works, if not then try the one before that. Though I don't like it, you can have multiple versions of Microsoft on your computer and most people do because various install programs will install the one that they like.

Error message: "Side-by-side configuration is incorrect"
The machine is missing the correct C++ runtime components for your type of system. (x86 or x64).
Installing the following update resolved the issue.

  7. ^^^this won't work, in fact you probably have a key-logger running in the background all ready. a re-install is the only way of guaranteeing your bankroll not getting raped and your account hijacked. i hope to see $15 in my account this evening. thank you.
  8. download the free version of revo uninstaller from here http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html
and select party poker from the list it will the first produce a list of files associated with party poker you can select all and delete next you will get a list of registry entries again just select all and delete the restart and reinstall party

edit: lol and obv dont just wipe your pc as jedi is suggesting just in case i needed to point that out

Not sure what a key-logger should have to do with a programm that doesnt work, when the rest is fine.

  11. Saying he has a keylogger is pretty fuckin stupid, you dont have a keylogger just a software issue mate.

Has party poker ever worked on on your machine? If so what have you installed after to make this happen?

  12. no never worked on my laptop.. played partypoker before on my hp touch, but now i use my laptop for grinding..
not sure whats wrong, i can live with it but dont want to have any bs on my computer..
if everything goes wrong i delete everything and install windows 7 new. Not much on my laptop which is much needed, just hhs, hem, skype etc..

have scanned the computer now with 4 anti vir programms, not one of them has found a single virus...

  13. do you have any system restore points before you initially installed party?
  14. Then I hate to tell you this but now a system restore is your best chance at getting your computer back on track. Save any files you think weren't there and note down programs you installed before that. Try to go back like a month if possible.

Oh. Obviously not counting wiping your system and starting again. Another idea is also taking it in to an expert. I'm sure they won't charge too much tbh.

  16. my $15 yo :)
  17. Did anyone get paid for this or was it just a false promise by the OP?
  18. The thing is, he didn't actually get it fixed though, so not really a false promise.

Agreed, but based on posts 15 & 16 I was under the false impression it was resolved.
  22. Hey sorry guys.. Forgot about the thread.. Problem isnt solved. Tried everything but i think the only way is to start the system new.. Even the partypoker technical team mailed me with some other options(which also havent worked). I only get access over my other computer.
Really would have paid the money, never would write that if i dont do, but nothing has worked... Sorry :-(
