They had a server reset at 6 am est when the 1k was 3 handed and forced them into a chip chop. Why are they hosting METs when they can't even keep servers up long enough to finish? Pretty ridiculous considering 225k for first.

I watched this, was so bad cancelling a tour playing for 222k or w/e and that Marcus got a good deal seeing as Holdplz didnt wanna deal... so so bad but its the FTP we all love :)

Fuck FTP and why did ftpdoug let them know only 3minutes before, deals take a little while to work out. Was ftp hoping someone would win before? FTP just a joke of a site they will probably give holdplz a $300 bonus that he has to clear for the inconvenience.

Why does FTP schedule its server reset on the same night they run their largest buyin tournament?? Why not do server reset on tuesday or thursday when nothing is going on?

IMO it was not that much of a big deal in the facts as the 2 pxf instructors worked together in poker business, it was more en ethic problem rather than money but now it happen when ppls have nothin to do with eo which is very bad for the game.

Boycott seems to be the only action that can put pressure on FTP but are most of the regs "able" to do this ?? I mean the overlay due to regs Boycott will bring other ppl to the HSMTTs attracted by the overlay value and the lack of reg value..

I agree that 100 percent of the blame is on FTP and aware that chip chop favors the short stack. But if you are gonna play the 1k MET w/ over 200k on the line having the excuse that you are tired is pretty ridiculous. Also pretty ridiculous that the decision not to resume could have been solely placed on the one picking up a lot of value as the short stack (assuming theute did not want a chop as well)

Saying he's tired is a BS excuse. He could've just been honest and said: " I m not better than the other two players left, and holdplz will rape my soul." If he said that, everyone would respect it. But lets not side-track. The real issue here is FTP.

But yeah this definitely sucks for ute and hold given markus' stats, but who knows what could have happened. Either way congrats on 6figs all 3!

Everything that they are doing is solely focused on short term profits. They know when we finally get regulation that a lot of new sites will enter the market and FTP will lose a ton of its market share. Right now there are massive barriers to enter into the online poker world because of the UIEGA, which leads to there only being 2 reasonable choices to play online poker.
Once we get regulation, party poker will come back, WSOP.com will probably open a big site, maybe there will be a Bellagio.com or something like that. Each individual state might try to launch their own site. Who knows they might even bring back that 18 month blackout period that they were talking about. Basically the future is very uncertain and all FTP knows is that they have a chance to rake in a boat load of money right now and that is what they are doing. A boycott won't work, I don't think there is anything that we can do about it. I will try my best to avoid the MET's, but some of them are still so juicy, especially on Sunday's, so I can't say that I'm going to stop playing them completely.
