New Tournament Structure - Roller Coaster

P5ers - we have introduced a new tournament structure, starting at $500 Guarantee.

The Roller Coaster starts with huge blind jumps and 45 minutes of unlimited re-buys, and a massive 10,000 add-on.
After the 45 minutes rush, the tournament slows down substantially and plays as a deepstack tournament with a slower blind structure.

We'd love to get your feedback on the structure, buy-in, etc...

logged in just in time to see me bust from the monsoon for a min cash while blinded completely out of another and crippled in my last one. Why don't they just cancel tourneys instead of letting people who can connect sit there and steal blinds over and over.

Just use the standard English letters instead? Should not be a problem for account verification in case they request documents.

888 sometimes has scroungers who aren't in the game begging players for money. It's annoying as hell.

Tonight in a game I was in:

pokerkid102 >> u make 20$ profit

This went on for over 30 minutes...
Really bloody irritating.

Make it a rule that you can't beg for money!
Get a report button and ban them!

I've just come back from a month holiday and just began to play again. I'm sure 888 realises that time is money and put off reinvesting my time in 888 at the moment because of how poor the lobby is when it comes to table selection. You let me limit the selection to 3 - 6 players and micro stakes.

I want it to be limited to 6 player tables only. Not push or fold format. Not camera format after I've joined at least one of those tables because you can only join one camera table at a time (which is pish btw). I want to arrange my search results by plrs/flop and in doing this I end up with a bunch of tables from other stakes there as well as my own stake which is very frustrating especially considering they are constantly updating and moving around when I'm trying to sit in waiting lists. This is an issue that is important to me and I'm sure is very frustrating for other players who are not just playing recreationally.

The quick join option or tables is also bad. Try taking a leaf out of pokerstars "easy seat" book. That is very welcome. It's hard enough to join a table which is near optimal so being able to quickly join lots of tables in order to search which one suits me is very important to many players.

When a player wins a seat into a target tournament via satellite, they should be able to unregister. I understand the logic behind not allowing players to unreg after winning a seat, but the policy should be changed. Allow players to unreg and receive a tournament ticket for that same tourney but redeemable on any day. Im new to the site but would without a doubt put in more volume if I had the ability to unreg from tournaments and receive tickets. Hell, make the tickets non-transferable if you want. I just want to be able to win a seat to the Monsoon on Tuesday for example, have my plans change that afternoon, unreg and instead play on Wednesday. Just a thought.

I asked for my account to be re-opened after a six month exclusion. They emailed me asking a couple questions to verify my identity. I responded appropriately, and got an email back saying thank you, your account has now been closed. I wanted it opened. Not closed! I still had an account balance that I guess would be forfeit since they never even mentioned it in the email in which they said that my account was now closed. Emailed back so hopefully this is rectified.

I just wanna post my feedback with 888, its my main poker site ATM, I'd like to first say, customer support is awsome, give them a call and in a few seconds they will answer and help you in the best way they can, also their bonuses are great too, I didn't play for about a month and when I logged in I was surprised that I received $100 in my account, I called and asked where it come from and they said it was a bonus for me! Great! But I lost it:( (this happened more then once that I logged in and found free monies in my account)
I'd like to see some bigger tournamnets, the biggest tournament they have is the 100k Sunday challenge. 888poker revenue is I think close to 18 million a year, surely they could offer a 1 million guarenteed something like four times a year? Like party poker. Any chance we will see that?

Yeah and they have no expenses at all ;)

Thanks for the feedback. We are about to introduce many tournament ticket related features in the upcoming updates so you will see a lot more flexibility in tournament registrations very soon .
