Alternative for Utility bill when proving residency

    Looks like I'm heading to Vancouver within the next couple of weeks to get back online. It seems my best option for short term living is getting a room in a shared house/apartment or some type of basement suite. Just about every place I have looked into is an all inclusive type of lease. This means I wont have my name on any utility bill to send to the sites to get up and running. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do as far as getting something on paper with my name and new address to send to stars and FTP?

    I am American, and all my utilities are in my wife's name. pokerstars, party, FTP, and any other site I used were happy with a bank statement in my name and with my Lithuanian address, along with my Lithuanian Visa, and a picture of my US Passport.

    The lease it's self should be proof of address. I would think that is your best option. As it shows current residence. If you get Any other type of mail besides utility bills all that proves is a mailing address.

    I have heard a cell phone bill with that address will do.
