  1. Does anyone have an idea how many employees a poker site employs such as pokerstars and maybe a smaller site like cake or something? Wouldn't it be a good idea other than the tax money these sites generate is to be proactive to centers on the amount of jobs these U.S. Sites would create.
  2. Not really. bwin/party only employs ~1300 (http://www.google.com/finance?q=LON:BPTY&hl=en) and also has a casino and sportsbook side. Not to mention not all of the jobs would be US based, so a poker site wouldn't create many jobs. Of course, plenty of poker players would play full time, but that's a different issue.
