  1. it would save me a lot of pissing around making transfers, and waiting for withdrawals if i could spend it right on out my account,
also would feel baller paying with it just about anywhere!
    loony idea?
  2. Never thought I'd say this but....mbn to not live in North America

  3. When I lived in London and played a little on William Hill they had something similar. Can play poker, bet sports, and bet on the casino. Walk into any of a zillion shops they seems to have on every corner and get cash straight from your account just with the players card. Almost as convenient as an ATM. William Hill has less traffic now than then, and never really had a plethora, but was good while it lasted.
  4. I just dont see the major sites ever wanting to do this, It is in their best interest as well as ours really to keep as much money online as possible. Making it so people can spend it without really keeping track of their spending is gonna lead to alot of money coming out of the online poker economy which is bad for everyone involved... I could see something like a seperate account you xfer to and have a card that you can take out cash/ use as a debit card from that account. Although didnt netteller have this exact thing before the UIGEA? I would be on board if you had to request a wihtdrawl or transfer or whatever to this other account before being able to spend but I dont like the idea of spending it directly out of our accounts.

When I went to london I was shocked at all the betfair/william hill stores around. Such a strange concept for an American. We have to jump through so many hoops to move our money around here.

Yeah, its too bad they didn't have a pokerstars or FTP store, but with Neteller its all pretty easy anyway. Miss the US at times, but definitely not for poker or any kind of gambling.
  8. In essence, they did have a pokerstars Bank Card a couple years ago or so. You applied directly to PS to get it, but it got cancelled once all this US/Banking stuff started to become a problem. It was offered through Pay-Tru and I could withdraw straight to the card and get money from the ATM

That was more like neteller, post neteller being allowed in the US. I think the OP says to be straight from the PS account without hitting a withdraw button.
  10. epassport had a debit card which was sweeeeeet especially since iirc withdraws to epassport were instant. Sighhhh I miss those days

Brag about still living in the past. Good timing on my moving abroad. Hopefully one day there is regulation that isn't too prohibitive in the US and all this comes back and more. If Harrahs comes out with an online casino, those living in Vegas or wherever there is a Harrahs branded casino could just walk in and get cash or vice versa load cash.
