  1. lol ok guys... But seriously i cant come clean, i did not bot. I wont argue anymore. If you think i botted, thats fine it doesnt make any difference because the fact is either way i wont be getting a refund.

Anyways, I hope this somewhat negative first post wont affect my future being a p5er? I really like the site and wish that despite what your opinions are i can still be a welcomed member.

Also, despite what you believe my past was at full tilt, i believe we can agree on one thing; I obviously have quite a passion for poker. I can see myself being a very long time member contributing in several of the forums etc. I hope i can still have this opportunity.
    thanks

yeah cheaters deserve bans and loss of funds, but for those unfortunate to be proven "guilty" when not (and im sure ther have been a few) it is ridiculous not to be able to defend yourself

    ^ this^

OP reads all too desparate to me, but everyone has right to see evidence against them right?

Don't worry I already forward this thread and all his info to Stars. Pretty sure he won't be getting away with anything over there. Here is the reply

    Hello XXXXXX

Thank you for your report of this suspicion. Please rest assured that we do not tolerate automated players (bots) on pokerstars. We have an extensive arsenal of detection tools in order to ensure that each player is a human being.

While we cannot detail each of the tools we use to make this determination (we do not want our methods to fall into the hands of bot programmers who will then use that information to avoid detection), we can assure you that this player does not show any indication of using a bot on PokerStars, based upon all of the tests we have devised.

Obviously, we are unable to reliably determine whether a player has used a bot on sites other than PokerStars (it may interest you to know that the bot developer referenced in the thread does not actually support PokerStars). In any case, while we strictly enforce our rules against the use of bots, we will not bar players from PokerStars for allegedly breaching the Terms of Service of another online poker site: it is up to other online poker sites to enforce their Terms of Service.

In closing, we thank you for your report, as we would always rather check such players out and know for sure. We wish you the best of luck in your future games, and thank you for playing on PokerStars.

    Regards,

    Ian Y

Wow... you have too much time on your hands if you really emailed Stars about this.

LOLX50 to all those "oh yeah hes 100% bot" HA. Finally i am proved....is it fair to say

if you really want to not be getting crapped on on the site in the future, it'd be in your best interest to post the *we goofed, you are innocent and unlocked* email from FTP so people can judge for themselves that it's real.

    Seriously.

p.s. no way a bot shipped a 2k runner tourney fwiw re the stars tourney.

  17. How come your names arent on your profile? I dont think I have ever rooted against a player as much as I root against you. You came off as a total prick this thread! GJ Welcome to Pocket 5s!
  18. Most security software looks for certain executable files. If you have the .exe for "skanky bot" on your computer (which may have somehow got on there when u were viewing the You-Tube or most likely went to their site) and they find this (possibly it loaded a tracking cookie or the like when u viewed) which they obviously have it is cut and dried.

Think of it from their perspective - what r they supposed to do - turn up at ur house only to find u have deleted the program and evidence prior - how do they even know that they r even looking at the same setup. If they have found a trail that suggests u have been exposed to the bot then as far as they r concerned u r a bot whether u used it or not. I feel for u if u r innocent but.... the fact remains that u actively searched the site to check it out.

Some software even uses the same .exe in reader (display) versions. I know at my work software audits will often pick up multiple occurances of an .exe on the same machine even though only 1 is functional and others are left over from past installs or reader versions of the program.

Good luck but I suspect put the loss of $s down to life experience and move on.
