Just had my first experience with the rebuy problem. I guess it doesn't pay to win the first hand....sucks.

In the 3r that got 212 runners, it's paying top 27 with pay jumps every 9 players instead of 10.
Not every tournament is like this though, but they are working on it it appears.
H4H when approaching the $ bubble seems to be fixed as well!
*edit* In this tourney anyways, my other tournament is H4H 5 away from the money, sigh.
*edit* jfc and now in the money we are h4h with 23 left when the next pay jump is at 18. really? -

Hi Everyone,
something to confirm from Merge:
The new payout structures have already been created and nearly the entire tournament schedule has now been recreated with the new schedules,
and they should all be in effect for at least the network Guaranteed tournaments within 48 hours of this posting.
Merge are also hoping to have an improvement to the hand for hand mode so that it doesn't have such an impact on the game completed in the next 2-4 weeks, but the base revisions have all been confirmed.
I thank everyone for their patience and apologize for your frustration, and I know moving forward now that the process is in place that these types of revisions based on player feedback will be progressively dealt with.

Glad to see the new payout structures. It looks like pay distribution is a little flatter at the final table too. I always hated the pay jump from 3rd to 2nd being so steep.

i dont like how first dont pay as much anymore actually... in the 6500 10cube 268 runners and it paid 36 spots...first was usually 1700 hundo..now its like 1250....

in the past couple of days i've notice that tourneys with under 90 runners are payin' 9 spots instead of 10..i like this alot....
however i see that some tourneys with under 250 runners are payin' 36 spots (shouldnt it just be 27spots)
and tourneys with 300 runners are paying 45 spots( 36spots) -

So last night I played in a 16.50 turbo bounty....late reg was open for the whole tournament....I think I cashed (said i busted in 18th when 18 pay) but people were still regging....when we got down to 22 handed, we started with 130ish people, but we kept getting more and more randoms joining in.

by the time i busted we were up to almost 180 people! So I am not sure if i made the money or not (because after i busted, people were sitll regging...went down to 18, back up to 25ish and that continued for a while)

I am wondering what the resolution will be of this....I kept checking on the tournament and late reg didnt close until the final table! -

Does anyone have any idea when they will be accepting new US players? My account I made around July was temp suspended until they open up again for people to create real money accounts.

Personally I could give a shit what third pays.
I agreed with eliminating the min cashes. That was a great fix.
Problem was ppl wanted them to emulate stars' payout structure which is just retarded. Yeah in fields of 2000 I want to be rewarded for final tabling. In fields of 70 runners who the fuck cares about ft'ing. Its about winning.

Glad to hear the rebuy fix is coming. I hope that we will be allowed to take two rebuys at once also. Sux when ur in a rebuy, bust, can only take one, and then pick up a monster the very next hand and you were only able to take the one lousy rebuy.
Also please do employ a progressive blind structure, esp for the more poorly structured low/mid stake buyins like 3r and 16.50. I don't think anyone would care about adding 5mins to blind rounds once ur in the money. There is a decent amout of play early in these structures but late it becomes pretty crapshootish
Lastly, please tell me why the Dollar Dazzler has a better structure than the 22r? I know its a turbo but why start everyone with only 1500 chips and then have such a small addon. This makes it not worth playing imo. -

They added it, EXCEPT they are running it at 19:55 for whatever reason. Makes no sense at all to start a tournament while all other tournaments are on break. Guarantee is 1.5k, tonight is the first night for it. It should blow that away.Originally Posted by tyson219

1) WHY SCREW UP THE SYNCHED BREAKS????????????? No tournaments should be running between :55 and :00. MTT players register hours in advance and don't want to have to a) sit out and miss hands or b) skip their only break
2) Could you pick a worse starting time? 2 Tournaments start between 19:00 and 19:55. And now 6 start between 19:55 and 20:30.
I'm glad merge is trying. But ffs, think beforehand.
