For maintenance reasons, the ability to add, remove or change poker site names will be down until Monday, May 20 at 09:00 AM (GMT - 6:00). Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the link Overdriv3, was able to finally see some good news by checking out the next article.
http://pokerfuse.com/news/poker-room...l-money-poker/
Looking forward to the day when on-line Poker is legalized and regulated in the US and PokerRoom.com is available for me to play. I miss that site everyday.
Only reason I'm not withdrawing from Bodog today is because I already used my free cashout this month, will definitely be withdrawing my full roll tomorrow. Oh Bodog, thanks also for making it so much easier for me to play some BJ, just what I needed in my life. Really can't believe how you disappointed me today. -
Oh nice with this idea bodog considers themselves to be a "pioneer" in the online poker world. Yep just genius, guessing stars and all other major sites will be rockin the anonymous format by the end of the week

I think you mean achieve, not archive. :)

Ive just ran up a little 4 figure roll here in the last week and was really looking forward to this update. The software is less laggy at least. I really dont give a fk about huds and dont use one anyway but eliminating screen names is a tragic idea and it needs to get fixed.
-
I am guessing P5s won't be able to track bodog scores either with this change. I am not involved with the tournament feeds, but do not see how this would be possible if everyone is anonymous, etc.
-
this is a very well worded post i found elsewhere.
Raises some concerns i hadnt really thought of yet
Dumbest idea ever. Poker has never been, never was meant to be, anonymous. Even worse, this change complete opens up the opportunity for collusion.
Had UB, for example, implemented this policy players may still be getting ripped off for millions. The superuser scandal was uncovered when PLAYERS policing and reviewing statistics around player winnings spotted anomalies in player winning rates.
There are multiple reasons why being able to identify players and winners etc are important for this transparency and it's essential to poker.
The best thing bodog could do now is re-think these changes immediately. -
They are pioneers... Pioneers in the worst imaginable poker software update ever. They are basically telling the regs to make their way to the door.

It's clear Bodog doesn't care about 'pro' poker players. BD makes more $ with mindless fish trading pots back and fourth, while the rake slowly takes everyone's roll. Why would they encourage pros to cash out $xK every month? It's bad for them, hence no rakeback, shitty point promo's, bad schedule, lol software, poor sng game selection, 4-table limit, etc. With that in mind, these changes are nonsensical for casual player's as well. They are taking away any sense of 'real poker' and basically making game-play look and feel like video poker. Fish like to banter back and forth and they do remember each other. Now that players are completely anonymous, the chat box will only be used as a shit-talking box.
On the surface, Bodog is eliminating the skill aspects of the game. The obvious strategy will now be to play more tables and play very nity. This will hurt the game experience for fish and good players alike. What gratification are fish now getting out of the game? The experience of poker is being dulled-down as much as possible. What do players who don't care about losing some money playing cards gain by these changes? Poker at Bodog looks boring, casual players are likely to become uninterested and find a new hobby. Pro's will never leave, they always adapt. I bet more casual players leave, then actual winners. Mission unaccomplished Bodog.
Instead of requesting 'Bodogbecky' answer questions, how about we ask for a statement from the managers who are taking over BD's US customer base on Jan 1? Maybe they don't even plan on keeping the poker room this rediculous. -
And no farking preferred seat! arrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
They HAVE to change the anonymous shit. I can live with everything else. I don't care about the HUDS either but at least let us see avatars or something. When you go to a casino you can at least see the players. If your playing 10-15 games at a time your not gonna remember any numbers on a certain table, especially if you can't take notes. That is giving an advantage to the guys who play for fun, because they are playing one or two games and can focus on the numbers.
-
fwiw, I played 20 tables on stars n FTP with no hud and I was pretty effective. You don't need a program to 20 table effectively

I'm having a huge lag problem right now. Busted the rebuy during rebuy period because of it, and just blinding out of everything else. -
I'm actually beginning to not mind this software, it's certainly an improvement over before. I've noticed they've added a few much needed levels to tourneys 40/80 and 250/500 among others. I'll probably continue to play, it will still be profitable and 48 hour cashouts the way online poker is in the states are the nuts. Just really hoping bodog takes all of these negative complaints into consideration and brings back screen names. Either that or at the new year when they're under new management things are changed back to normal. Field sizes even today are much smaller...good job if thats what u wanted bodog.

And I'm pretty sure it's a picture of a King on the card, but it has a big "J" on it indicating it's a Jack... Seems like a good sign there.
-
The new software is way more crisp and reliable it seems however obv NO SCREEN NAMES, when you chat and you have multiple tables up and its your turn you lose the chat you just typed, can't be placed at the bottom of the tables, and payouts... BODOG IS TRYING TO BE BIGGER THAN THE GAME ITSELF... THEY ARE NOT CHANGING THE GAME THEY ARE TRYING TO INVENT A GAME THATS WORSE THAN POKER... BODOG IS BEING VERY IGNORANT IN THIS APPROACH TO RANDOMLY THROW THIS ON THEIR HARD WORKING PLAYERS... AND a Friend pointed out to me ISNT BODOGS SLOGAN "BE A PLAYER" not "BE A NUMBER"... This approach is a terrible marketing ploy, shows you the SCUM BODOG is bestowing upon us today... Been playing their a long time and this is an embarrassment to all....

Love the software but how can you possibly implement such bad ideas in it. Live poker isnt anonymous, if you develop a history playing with someone you should be able to draw upon those experiences and use them to your advantage. So SAD about these changes...
