Bounced Bodog Payment?

    I cashed out on Bodog on April the 16th and received payment on the 3rd of May and deposited the same day. The check bounced. Has anybody else had this happen to them with Bodog?

    Also.....my bank [bank name's not allowed on the boards] has some pretty funky questions regarding the check...they Asked me where it was from...why its was coming.....who sent it....why were they sending it etc? Is this even kosher for them to ask? Standard protocol?

    Tell them it was from your investment in golf balls. Use the reverse psychology that sites use in order to get a deposit through. Banks, under the FDIC, are obligated or more said, are allowed to ask any questions regarding financial transaction that pass through the banks. That being said, this does not mean you are obligated to tell them the EXACT details of a transaction. In other words, you can tell them the check was an "internet investment dividend"." This is technically true...you get my drift???

    Remember, all the banks are on edge more so now since black Friday. They are held to a very high standard that is.foreign to many of us.

    ugh this sucks to hear. I got a money transfer and a check since black friday. Transfer went throughwithin 12 hours and my check had been in the bank for over a week. Will update if out bounces

    This happened to me a few years ago, contact support and they will help you get it resolved.

    lol no need to worry this happened a few years ago to this guy!

    id say times a lil different right now and most ppl have been saying bodog is the most reliable site right now to receive cashouts, so if this is true and banks are not accepting these checks a lot of ppl are grinding for no reason right now on bodog, hope its not true

    i also had a check from Bodog bounce a couple weeks ago...contacted them and was told to fax them a copy of the check and a statement showing the fee my bank charged me...still havent got around to doing that though :(

    sad to hear I'm awaiting on a check right now. This has me wondering if I should even cash it. Hopefully bodog has a way to resolve this.

    Wow, this thread has me a bit nervous. I too, have a recent payout via check on its way. It was processed and approved on 5-9, but still have not received a tracking number.

    In speaking with their live chat personel this morning I was assured funds would be available after cashing the check. Here's what I got from them when I asked if there was any truth to bouncing checks:

    "Please be advised that Bodog has been in the business for 15 years and we have never missed a payout."

    Do you know if bodog is gonna have any better cash out options soon? The only option I have now is the money transfer for $150.

    It's a true statement, if you take it to mean that even if there is a bounce, they get it rectified. I had a bounce once and it was reissued properly pretty quickly

    bodog is too big of a company in terms of sports betting n stuff like that to ever let stuff like this get out of hand.

    If it bounced, I'm sure they'll make good as they're into more than just poker. Hell, Bodog probably makes peanuts with poker in comparison to what they do with sports betting/casino games.
