Someone commented late in the 2+2 thread about the guy that is out $60K with them about a rakerace being funded with money they took away from that player. Link to the thread is below, the post is probably on the last page.

The 60k guy probably should have had the money taken from his account....the sites are usually 100% on these type situations....come on people.....
Cake is cashing people out....its taking a long time granted....the more sht talking you morons do , the worse things will get....what is the point of all of your crying? nice job getting defriended...feel better? Still no money....chump -
It doesn't look like you read the thread I linked if you honestly believe that.
-
way too many pages to read...sorry....but again...they are usually 100% right on these situations

Edited By: wackyJaxon Jun 23rd, 2011 at 07:22 PMI would read it, if you did you would agree that Cake wrongfully confiscated $60k from one guy and more money from others. I usually always side with the site when I see stuff like this posted, but this is one CLEAR case where the site was completely wrong.Originally Posted by 2sexy4Dchips

Cliffs below.
The OP of that thread won $60K+
The villain that lost the money, fraudulently deposited the funds.
The OP wasn't the only one that won funds off this guy.
Hand histories were provided, and there was no chip dumping.
Cake freerolls the OP of the 2+2 thread, tell the player that he won funds that were not supposed to be on the site so they confiscate his funds.
OP posts on 2+2 and P5s. The 2+2 thread gets alot of scrutiny and attention.
People do not believe the OP until Hand histories are posted. Moderators, top players, and 99% of anyone that read that thread believe that Cake was wrong.
Cake gets mad at the OP for posting the thread, and asks him to sign a NDA.
OP posts the NDA, cake sends him another email telling him he won't see any money if he continues to do so.
As far as we know, its been over a month, and Cake did not credit into the account of the OP, even though Cake admits itself that he had no prior relation with the player, and it was the fault of one of their skins to allow money to be credited onto the poker site of the villain and didn't have proper controls to prevent.
I know if I won even $1k off a player that was fishy, but I wasn't doing anything wrong, and then a site wanted to take it away from me, I would be completely outraged by this behavior. It is not the player's responsibility to make sure the player they are playing against, deposited the money fairly and didn't somehow bypass the site's poor internal controls. -
I will read it later tonight...tyvm for the cliffs....so they only proof we have about their relation is the hand histories? I will review them...however , if the two players were communicating , they could disguise the dumping , correct? Chip dumping can be very advanced and undeticable...agreed?
-
Its not related to chip dumping, Cake basically just said there were chips in play that should never been credited to the villains account and then took the money out of the people that won it from him. None of the accounts that won were accused by Cake of cheating or were banned from the site, just the money they won during those cash sessions from that particular villain was taken from them.

Keep in mind, the OP of that thread was the big winner, but he wasn't the only one that won money from the person that somehow got fraudulent funds on the Cake network. -
in a way it looks like cake hired someone to try and take money from players by playing vs them, thinking that they would win. then they lost there "loan" from cake

Level? If not, you couldn't have looked at the HHs. Because there's no person in the world who would ever be hired to play and then play that bad.

don't if this was a coincidence or not. but i had about 200 on there from a stake a ran with a guy. and cashed out 500 wwaited about a month. emailed them a few times. Got fed up and told them if its not processed within a certain time period, i said about 2 weeks from that date i think, i would cancel my cashout and swap money and find a site that will cash me out. Next day it was processed and received it 2 days later. hopefully it clears the bank. again don't know if its a coincidence or not but i would try it

But but but....I am assuming the hero and villian are the same person....he built his role up using credit cards on numerous accounts and lost and won to all the accounts....then planned this major high stakes dumping day with the OP , who is also the villian...thats what I am thinking....I still havent read the damn thread because of lack of free hours....
Ive seen this before....several times...and OP is never ever legit...this would be the first time OP is legit....which would shock the sht outta me -
Edited By: wackyJaxon Jun 25th, 2011 at 12:17 AMIn this case you are wrong, and you should read the thread. The villain and OP are NOT the same person. The villain found a glitch in a skin which allowed him to transfer money from the sportsbook to the poker room without the money leaving the sportsbook. He then went on to lose most of his money in the poker room to a variety of players, not just the person who had the most money won from him. This was over the course of several days, so it could have been detected by Cake much earlier they had a problem with the skin.Originally Posted by 2sexy4Dchips

How would you react if you walked into a casino, won $1k playing 2/5NL, then the casino saying sorry, we can't let you keep your winnings, we just found out that this person bought his poker chips with counterfeit money. I am sorry we didn't detect until after you won the money, but we will now not let you keep your winnings because of our error. This is basically what happened.
With all due respect, you should definitely read that thread before responding again. Its pretty clear what happened, respected posters at 2+2, along with high stakes players, and moderators on that forum have all agreed with the OP in this case. I myself have come down on people posting about things blaming sites, but he provides plenty of evidence, and it isn't a case of needless bashing of a site. It might also be the first time since the UB superuser scandal that I have sided with a player over a site on a matter myself. I think if you read the entire thread with an open mind you would feel the same.
I still play on Cake myself, but this kind of thing makes me very nervous that if I win money off a fish that Cake can turn around and take it back. I am also glad that Cake has been cashing out US and non-US players.
