According to the 2+2 thread, it was $60k to the OP, but it was more to other people on top of him as well.
-
you, sir, are the idiot. and yes, he ALONE took 60k off the guy. and the fact that they were not legit funds IN NO WAY takes tony out of the clear. they are saying that he must have KNOWN that this was essentially dumping because of how ridic the HHs are. if you truly believe that Cake is arguing the point from your last sentence, then truly you are the idiot.

Your account was one of the accounts which won funds from one these fraudulent accounts ($60,614.10). We are sure you recognized and understood that the manner in which these accounts were playing against you was not rational poker. We apologize for this unfortunate issue but we cannot allow these funds to be retained in your poker account since they were not legitimate funds to begin with.
^^^^^^ did you COMPREHEND these 3 sentences?
the answer is no, you did not.
clemsonrich your an idiot.
do you see the part about how they were not legit funds.. or you use your super secret reading vision to forget about that sentence?
Your just making yourself look worse everytime you comment talking about something completely irrelavant to this. They are saying that because of how bad the guy was, he should have known that he would not be able to keep his money..... lets think about that for a second. -
First time reading this thread since I posted it .
Please read the whole 2+2 thread before you think I was part of a chip dump.
I would start posting stuff on here but I would just be going over the same stuff from the 2+2 thread so please just read there.
Thanks. -

If this is what they are 'arguing' they need to make that a point. If they thought it was a chip dump, he would have been banned, i do not understand, what you do not understand about that. Its THAT simple. -
I read the whole two plus two thread where the guy provided hhs too. I'm almost 100% sure that hes legit. Cake Poker is such a scummy site.

I read through the 2+2 post as well. It is very clear that OP was simply a better player but I didn't see too many signs of a chip dump. To me it appeared as if the villain was playing with someone else money and was definetly not used to playing at those levels. He made a ton of beginner mistakes. IMO if OP was not involved in getting the "non legit" funds on the site then they should not be taking his winnings. Whether it was Cakes accounting dept allowing those funds on the site or a high roller having his password cracked, either way the winner should not have been penalized.
LeftyMike - Calm down and show a little respect to others in the forum. You can state your point without belittling clemsonrich. -
donkiman, all i was doing was defending OP because hes legit. clemsonrich made a dumb comment, i asked if he even read op.. he told me to hug more nuts, i told him he was an idiot. if you really have a problem with my comment, then thats fine, only stating the obvious facts about the situation, and clemsonrich.

Hello Mark,
Our apologies for the delay in replying and obviously you deserve a full explanation into this issue. Part of the delay was due to us waiting for a full explanation from the network site involved in this issue.
The Cake Network provides a poker platform for various sites using our software with their own brand identify. These brands use common tables that allow players from different sites to sit in at the same games and win/lose funds to each other. Some of the sites on the network such as sports books and casinos have their own cashier for depositing. Funds credited to these accounts at the poker tables are removed from their account balance at the sports book and if the player losses then the sports book owes the network these funds which are settled in a cross cage manner at the end of each month.
Due to an error in the cashier system at one of these sites it allowed funds to be brought to the poker tables without being deducted from the sports book balance. Only two players abused this error by bringing funds to the poker tables effectively losing them playing at limits outside of their skill level and in many instances simply wasting the funds pointlessly. Basically it means that the player(s) you won from were using play chips since they did not have the available balance in their sports book account needed to cover the funds being lost at the tables.

This error was external to the Cake Network and we are currently in the process of having these losses made good by the site where the error occurred. The funds which you won from these account(s) are currently suspended to prevent contamination of the ecosystem with valueless chips. We ask that you bear with us while we retrieve the owed amounts from this site.
Regards,

Can every one also read the bit where the OP's name is Mark and his P5's name is Tony Guoga.
He is not The Tony G
Also it sounds like they are working to get paid from the depositor, but it still sucks that their fuck up ends up costing you.
