  1. I recently cashed out 6000$ from ftp on June 22nd via check , given the situation does that mean the checks won't be good or bounce. I assume since it was processed/approved and sent they should be fine?

  2. not looking good my friend, id wait to cash it till we hear more...

  5. Don't wait. If you have the checks deposit them but don't spend the money till they clear. It's always good to be first when there is a run on the bank!!!

I've had a few cashouts that were over $2k since black Friday, but all were direct bank transfers. Maybe the limit is different for checks.

If this is true, OP's story doesn't make sense, as ftp wouldn't send 3 checks all on June 22nd.

But even if the check is smaller, the chances of it not bouncing are very small.
  7. hello, i also tried to cashout a cheque for $2000 on the 18th of june....

the only email i recieved from full tilt says PROCESSING

i never recieved another email. and my funds went down the 2k i requested.

my question is, will i see this cheque? we had a mail strike in canada so things are delayed and full tilt has not replied to my emails.

does full tilt send you a confirmation emil when they mail the cheque?
and if so/not will this cheque clear?
  8. You have probably realized that full tilt has lost its gaming license and is in process of being purchased. I don't think you can expect anything right now.

  9. ya i realized that and was enjoying the super soft games without the US players. i just though i could cash out before the shit really hit the fan.

    well heres hoping i guess.

but the one question i have that will basically appease my concerns is if you recieve a confirmation emil when they send a cheque.....not just one that says processing.

i've never cashed out from fulltilt and am unfamiliar with their processes

  11. I see my ftp money as a sunk cost. I had 5 figures on there. Its the price we pay for playing online poker. Shit was ok for many years. Now its not. One time I got jacked on PokerTime for 1200 because I dumped 50 bucks to my friend. Their stupid site didnt have p2p transfers and they then promptly locked both mine and my friends accounts and seized our funds. I consider that a much worse occurence than what is going on with ftp.

Now i understand why ftp allowed me to increase my limits basically whenever I wanted and allowed for huge deposits on credit before the funds cleared, whereas stars has always been super strict on my deposit limits and until today will not increase them. ftp is paying the price for bending the rules and their customers are too.

  12. Actually ftp is much worse. When you dump money to a friend you are breaking the rules of the site. This site even went so far not to have P2P transfers, and you went ahead and broke their rules and went ahead and tried to circumvent the fact that they don't allow transfers from player to player. There was a price to pay for that. I agree that the penalty was too severe if it was only $50 you were dumping, however, in this case you broke the rules yourself.

FTP broke their own rules themselves, which resulted in their customers got punished for it, where in your example you broke the rules, and were "excessively" punished for it.

Edit: Not saying you had any mal-intent, and it seems like the rule you broke wasn't a big one. The point I was trying to make was about in which case the site broke a rule vs. the customer and why one is worse than the other.
